I am going to a job interview this week. It is a project manager role, but they also want someone who can knowledgably speak to the technical aspect of web development (IE Java/Perl/Flash).
I was just checking to see if anyone knew of some websites that went into detail about these languages and the pro's/coms about them.
I have a very highlevel understanding of Java and Perl but would like to be able to talk a bit more indepth about them if needed (why use would use them, benefits, etc).
I have done some searches throughout the internet, but figured I would also check here.
I would assume when they say 'talk knowledgeably' they mean be able to explain how they work, why we use them, what they can do, why they might not work as needed.... stuff like that
any programmers out there that can help? what is the difference between java, javascript, javabean, perl????
