Jags: 5-8, but margins of defeat this year have been: 3, 9, 7, 2, 7, 2, 2 and 1 points, in order. Three losses in the past three weeks by a total of FIVE points! Seems like they are always in the game but find ways to let it slip away. Capable of beating good teams (beat KC, Jets and Philly this year). Despite being 3 games under .500, Jax has outscored their opponents 276-252 this season. Also capable of losing to garbage squads (vs Hou, @ Dal). Still...looking at the opponent....

Bengals: Been burned on these guys so many times this year thinking they can at least cover the number (they can't, 3-10 ATS). Hilton guys loved 'em all year too. Clearly their season was over around mid-October, but now they really look to be playing out the string. Outscored by more than 150 pts this year! (235-387). Does Cinci get their first (and likely only) home win today?

Not crazy about taking a road fav, even a small one, in a nothing game. But I see the Jags with at least a bit of pride to be salvaged....nothing can save face for the Bengals this year. In fact, finishing last may be the goal now to ensure the top pick in the draft.

Does Jax lose their fourth straight and really hit rock bottom today...possibly slamming the door on HC Coughlin by doing so? Or do they stand up and grab one they really SHOULD win. Jags giving less than a FG is my lean. Any opinions?

just my thoughts but i think the jags are horrid and they will loose this game..

the jags are giving up an average of 21 pts to the NFLs worst offenses..

21 to dallas
21 to houston
24 to NYG
19 to houston

they cant stop the run.. C. dillon should have plenty of room to run.. this should open up the play action and leave kitna open for the deep ball..
kitna is the hottest QB in the NFL right now..

quote from sporting news

"Kitna has thrown for more than 250 yards in each of his past six games. In that time, he has run and passed for 14 touchdowns while throwing just four interceptions."

Cinncy wants a win and they will have one tommorrow

good luck:D

also note that brunell has a sprained middle finger... cinncy is going to stack the line and make him throw...

however, stacking the line or not this team still wont stop Taylor..

this game has over written all over it:D

Hey Gibber,

Thanks for the feedback. You may be right, Over might be the better route to go with this one.

Why am *I* up? Why are *you* up?? :D Sleep's all backwards at the moment and I am wired. If I take a nap I'll sleep thru kickoff, so I'm doing the all-nighter crunching #'s and stuff. By halftime of the 4 o'clock game I'm sure I'll be seeing double from sleep deprivation. This Christmas season stuff really screws up my routine!
