not sure if serious about OSU > UT head coaching jobs. That's a little silly right there. Just my opinion if you look at all-time record, national titles, conference titles and all-americans / nfl draft picks... it's not really that close

Prior to their last 2 dumpster fire hires, Tennessee HC was probably a top10 job in the country. Fulmer had 9 10-win seasons in 16 years. That may be as many as OSU has had in their entire program's history. There's plenty of money to go around in Knoxville too.

I think Strong is the leader, but my question for Jaxx or other Okie State fan, was is the relationship between Gundy and the AD, Mike Holder, that contentious?
I also think Art Briles should be in the running. I think he has won every place he has been and you can't fake that.

Yea there is a definite discord between Gundy and Holder. It appears Gundy is still pissed how his contract negotiations went last year. Only Gundy knows and probably his wife if the UT job is a consideration. But yes there is real friction between him and the AD. It would be a major blow if he left. Maybe Pickens will step in and settle this thing. LOL
Yeah, I don't know why he would leave. It just doesn't add up based on what he has going there.
Just curious, what are your thoughts on Briles? Fools here just want a name, but I think Briles would be a home run just based on his track record wherever he has been.

I think Briles would be a good choice and A&M proves that style of play can be successful in the SEC.
