Hey Guys....Tonight's starter for the Jays, Marco Estrada, is showing real good numbers for his past two starts (one run, 3 hits allowed in past 15-2/3 innings), but he threw 129 pitches in his last start. 129.
That makes me skeptical about tonight and the Jays haven't exactly been tearing the cover off it since facing Gallardo on Saturday.

It pains me to do it, but I think the Red Sox are worth a small play tonight at +140.

Estrada near no-no last start, hence the pitch count. Pitchers off a no-no this year, Heston (Loss next outing), Sherzer (Won next start, also had near no-no start before his actual No-no).

Thanks Bill.

He actually took a no-no into the 8th in the start previous to that against the Orioles as well. He threw 118 pitches in that one.

He is 4-0 in June with the only no decision coming in his last when he took the perfect game into the 8th.

I just see a bit of a let down coming.

Why do you see a let down ???

1. I don't like his pitch count L2 starts.

2. Boston hit him hard and scored 5 R in 5 IP on 6/14 even though he got the W.

3. He's 33yo and you could easily say he is coming off back to back "career" performances. Given a somewhat established track record, I don't see him staying this sharp and could easily regress.

4. On a side note, I don't think he's gonna get much run support tonight...Jay bats are chilly.
