I can't believe he's finally hanging them up. There aren't many people in the sports world I respect more than Sloan. He does it the right way and does it very well.

What a great guy. Too bad there was a Michael Jordan out there and those Celtic and Knick teams when he played. I remember way back when he played for Evansville. What a class act. :0008

Everyone here is shocked! All of the d-will fans are rethinking their loyalty. How can a superstar player impact a class act coach like this? I sure hope this wasn't a rash decision. Sloan will be missed greatly.

Sloan is the type of guy who if a stranger would criticize him, you'd judge the guy immediately on that statement alone as a jerk, and if a friend did the same, you'd have to re-evaluate your opinion of your friend also.

I wonder why Williams had a problem with him? That offense is as good as it gets for a PG. It allows you to make plays passing and shooting. It gives you 1 on 1 chances and pick and roll or pop chances. IMO there's no better offense for a PG in the league.

Its not about the offense its about who's in charge of the team and Sloan is an in your face take no shit coach. Williams is being portrayed as a prima donna punk in SLC.

I live here too... FKN SHAME.... BUT I Heard a little different story from buddy's Dad who is friends with Sloan... HE GOT "DALLAS COWBOY COACH REMOVED" just like DALLAS DID TO THEIR COACH... Blow games, and then when coach is blamed or "MR PLAYER" has convinced everyone on team its coaches fault, Coach quits, and now what? UTAH COMES OUT ON FIRE LIKE COWBOYS DID AFTER THAT HORRID START?????
