Went there a long time ago. Visiting Masada is the excursion that I enjoyed the most.

Doc, although I don't speak with the been there
done that knowledge, I do know a few people
with ties to the region. I am not Jewish but know
and enjoy their company. IMHO, the safety issue
is overblown and if I were you I would'nt even
give it a second thought. Second, I wish I were
in your shoes. Before I die, I want to visit that
region. You are a lucky man. :toast:

What an amazing trip. I had a great time even though there were a few scary moments, but nothing life threatening. I will post some pictures in the next day or two. I highly recommend a visit there, you won't be disappointed!
