You have probably heard about the incident in a club in Chicago Sunday night/Monday morning where 21 people were trampled to death. As it turns out, the son of one of Jesse's life-long friends (he has marched with Jackson since the 60s, preached at each other's churches, etc.) is the club owner's father. Jesse had went to bat for the club in the past to be able to stay open, get more police presence in the area, wanted a cruiser designated just for the club, blah blah blah. He claims he was awake at 3AM when the incident all went down, and felt the need to go be with the families. Today in the Sun-Times a columnist reported that when Jackson pulled up on the scene he parked his car right in the middle of all of the emergency vehicles, turned it off, got out, held his keys out to a high-ranking police officer on the scene, and asked him to take care of parking his car for him! What an arrogant !!!!! The officer reportedly looked at Jackson, looked over his shoulder as if to say "are you REALLY talking to me or is there someone behind me?" and then turned around and walked away!

Now Jackson is playing both sides, appearing with families, consoling victims, etc. and at the same time working to try to help the club owners keep from getting the blame. All the while he is denying supporting the club in the past, when there are letters he sent to local politicians asking for their help on behalf of the club. When will this guy ever learn? He adopts some good causes, but he is such a hypocrite most of the time that I don't know if he does more harm or good.

So Cal
Who would of thunk it - but it appears that the Rev Al actually has more clout than Jessie does at this stage of the game.

Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are nothing but a couple of attention hungry phonies.

All either one of them wants to be is the second coming of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

King was a man who fought tirelessly for a single worthy cause. He didnt do it for the attention. He did it so generations after him could have a better life.

These two a-holes fight whatever cause CNN is currently broadcasting.

The coupe de grace is when Clinton called him to White House to pray for after"Morale lapse"
King was busted month later for same.
Somehow I have to believe there was more address swapping going on than praying.:p

Iminforabuck, you said it that both Sharpton & jackson are a couple of attention hungry phonies.

Now that he is running for president, what is the over & under number on the times Sharpton will answer Tawana Brawley questions?

The more I read & hear about Jackson strong arming corporations for money or jobs, the more disgusted I get. I understand that he is also doing some hanky panky with his income taxes. Wonder why the IRS is not auditng him? All this guy has done is live off his association with King.
