Yes gentlemen, Jessie is an utterly worthless POS but.....don't confuse the messenger with the message. This was an awful hire by Alabama despite having good viable black candidates.
If the black leaders of the U.S. can't protest THIS hiring of Shula, when can they ever rightfully protest?
Shula has no head coaching experience on any level.
Alabama hasn't historically recruited on a national basis very well. They've always relied on recruiting some top notch local talent. Shula doesn't live in Alabama and has no 'network' of highschool coaches with which to depend on or exchange info.
He's got no assistant coaches that he can bring with him. He's really starting from ground zero.
The shoe just doesn't fit here. The only two reasons he was hired is he's white and he's a Shula.
