Yes gentlemen, Jessie is an utterly worthless POS but.....don't confuse the messenger with the message. This was an awful hire by Alabama despite having good viable black candidates.

If the black leaders of the U.S. can't protest THIS hiring of Shula, when can they ever rightfully protest?

Shula has no head coaching experience on any level.

Alabama hasn't historically recruited on a national basis very well. They've always relied on recruiting some top notch local talent. Shula doesn't live in Alabama and has no 'network' of highschool coaches with which to depend on or exchange info.


He's got no assistant coaches that he can bring with him. He's really starting from ground zero.

The shoe just doesn't fit here. The only two reasons he was hired is he's white and he's a Shula.

Yes, Jessie is rightfully everybody's whipping boy , but that doesn't mean he's wrong for once.

Jesse is the wrong guy to make remarkes. I dont know who is. There is one bit of truth to this. 48% of the kids in Div 1A playing are Black. Of the 114 Div 1A schools there are either 4 or 5 black head coaches. The SEC It say in the paper has never hired any. You from the SEC would know if true or not. I have no idea. None of this means everyone should run out and hire a black coach.
I have to say after reading this artical. There must be a couple more qualfied. And just maybe a chance.
What gets me is the Mexicans will start to get pissed off soon. With such high unemloyment. Many Americans will know be willing to go back to work in the fields out west. Now the Mexicans will say it's unfair to them. They take the chance to sneek acrosse the border and there will be no jobs for them. They will ask Jesse to say alittle something for them.

We do pay to watch all when we go to a game. I dont think much about it. I dont care much about color. If I did I guess I would not watch or place action on any games. Jesse has no real business saying anything. The schools them self need to look at them selfs and deside if they are fair. There no doubt the black players have come along way fast. What they been in baseball less then 50 years? Yet they have a lot of the records. Same with Football. And of course Buckets, Track. The one thing I do see the schools doing with ALL players. Makeing some nice cash. And somehow letting them play with out completeing school. I always wonder if a band member or cheer leader would get by with that.
