Saw the Blls quite a few times in training camp this year as well as all their pre season games. here is my breakdown on todays game.
- Bills defense is bad. Front seven is a disaster with exception of Williams and Fletcher. Had to see where they will get any penetration from DL and will have to send Linebackers alot. They will have trouble stopping the run all year. Corners are the strength with Winfield and Clemons. They start rookie Coy Wire at SS. he got burned twice in PS for long plays as he has a tendancy to get himself out of position. He is a big hitter ( played LB at stanford) and will help on run support. Learning SS on the job is tough in NFL and we will make some mistakes.
- Special teams looked simply awful once again, especially kick coverage. They gave up field position time and time again in PS on special teams and with this defense that spells trouble.
-Offense has potential to be very good. Moulds, Price and Rookie Josh Reed could be best WR tandom in league IMHO. Moulds has looked very sharp in camp, Reed catches everything in sight, and at times, Price looked the best of the three. His route running and focus seemed to have improved greatly. Bledsoe looked sharp most of camp. Running game still struggled most of preseason. henry will get first sho again but i expect to see more of Bryson this year. OL is healthy and should be improved. R Williams is a mountain but he struggled in camp and preseaon as he faced better competition then he saw in college. Jonas Jennings made big strides in camp till ankle injury slowed him down. Bills have better depth on OL then last year. Pass protection did not seem much better in PS then last year and Bledsoe is less moblie then Johnson was.
Offense will put up points this year but defense will continue to give up points also. Curtis Martin should have little trouble running the ball against the Bills today and Vinny will test the rookie Wire.
Bills got Bledsoe to throw the ball and I believe that he will. I look for a high scoring game with the las team with the ball getting the win
