When did this guy become Vince Lombardi, and all of a sudden the sexy coach to hire this year?

Maybe I just missed something?

People knew he'd be a head coach all those years ago when he played for Ditka. Father brother and him are brilliant. He has done a great Job at Stanford. Absolute genius. The hype is a little much but have felt for the last year that he is perfect for frisco. If I'm him though I go right for Houston. I havent heard anything yet today,so if he already landed somewhere please forgive

seems every team this guy coaches shows steady improvement....plus,as clem indicated, the bloodline...

i get it...if i were an owner,i might prefer rolling the dice with a successful young coach rather than an old guy...unless you can get a cowher...

but,that`s just me...

I was told by someone today that he has a "verbal" agreement to be the next coach at Michigan. A lot of people here in Michigan, including myself, would like to see that happen, but I'm not banking on it. CWood97 might have some insight on the Harbough situation as it pertains to Michigan.

that's it right there AND he's great with QB's. He's helped fine tune Luck as he did Josh Johnson when he was at USD. He worked miracles with J Johnson helping him set all kinds of offensive records. He's a legit coach.

You have to like the fact that a guy with average skills hung around as long as he did in the pros and didn't he come real close to getting to a Super Bowl. I think he's a great coach and the victories over USC were insane. He had no business beating that team.

Tougher QB than Farve I think because he got hit alot more....remember he was spitting up blood one year for the Bears I believe and this was before Farve did it...where ever he goes I will be a fan of that team....Carolina Panters would be great w/Luck as a package deal but I guess they have not contacted him let...they won't pay what he is looking for but I see him more of a College coach than a pro one
