6-5, they have to play about 2 (3 is better ) games before I can start running the sheet. Actually, I couldn't resist making a few small plays and did really well so far (3-1 ATS). Hope that 's an omen for this season.

Betting gets serious starting with week 4 or 5.

Thanks for asking; I wasn't gonna post a thing until late season but now that I know somebody is that interested in the picks, I'll start posting something right after I run the first sheet.

Got a lot of hosses running around in my head right now. Shoulda posted something in the tennis forum - liked Murray a lot today.

G.L., Six Fiver. :)

"Place is dead"? Would be nice if one brought a keyboard with him/her, right NDFAN? :)

There ain't nuthin but a little about posting football stuff in this thread and there's way over 600 stinkin hits/views. Starting to feel a little sorry for them Peepers, thems gotta be bored out of their gord. :(

How bout something that might be more interesting for them (I think me and SixFive connected already)?. Thanks again for your inquiry, 6-5, we could use all the posts we can get in this forum no matter what's it's about. LOL

Ok, tonight (YEAH, that's NIGHT), Penn National, wace 4, hoss 1, Tribute, 6-1 morning line. Should, at least, be a zacta facta.

Now, lets git this thing over a thousand views :0058

Jimbo, I'm from the great horse state of Kentucky, but I never got into the horse handicapping/betting other than maybe betting a longshot at the derby.

Numbers guys like you especially with ur proven results always pique my interest though when it comes to sports betting. Always trying to get an edge. Hope u start running that sheet soon and good luck with ur hosses! :0074

Misc stuff and a Philly pick for today/Sat

Misc stuff and a Philly pick for today/Sat

MJ, I think this thread prob. doesn't belong here.. but I didn't know where to put the dang thang? Just would like to get back to SixFive this one time.

Tellya what - , I'm gonna go over Philly hosses for today and edited this with today's Philly pick at the end of this thang?

SixFive, I'll communicate with you in the COLLEGE FOOTSBALL PLACE starting next week.

Here's my last entry/reply in this thread:

SixFive, you're beginning to renew my interests in this place :)

Well, here's where I'm at ... . .

I've been having some kinda luck just playing around with some parlays (4,5 teamers with small bets). Dimes was offering several WEEKS ago FUTURE (like week 4,5, and I think even week 6) college games that could be bet straight/single or in parlays. I knew I wouldn't be playing college FBallers seriously in weeks 1 or 2 fosure so I just made three parlays using (1) U.S. Open (tennis) picks, a baseball pick for the day I placed the bets, and also used a few of the college FB. plays. BTW, Murray to win the U.S. Open, straight play, was one of them. Two of the three parlays are wieniers IF San Fran 9ers just wins today. The parlays are of the type, "1 stinkin unit wins 8+ not so stinkin units :)"

I'm wondering if I should NOT go through the work of running the spreadsheet until the miracles (just picking wieners from my head) stops? No matter how much you figure these things out (and YES, figuring does help) YOU CANNOT match one of the factors that you have no control over --> LUCK! And these days it is clearly on my side. F'rstance, I liked Tenn. yesterday and decided to playem "FIRST HALF - 3/ 1/2". Check out the scoreboard on that game and you'll know what I mean. Had that one yesterday in a two teamer with Penn St. first half line play.

The Game Plan

Before I pull the trigger on any college games for next week, I gonna put in my plays from my head.

AFTER they're locked in,thanks to your interest 65 AND my curiosity, I'm gonna run the sheet and post the plays NOT HERE of course, but in Jack's College Bawl Room. Yeah, it'll take some getting used to after spending a year or so in this nice, quite Hoss Wacin forum. LOL Oh, also - I cannot run the sheet until Thurs or Fri cause I need to feed it the data from this week.

Thanks for your interest 65 and consideration, MJ.

Now.. Phily play for today.. (wait for edit)....

Well, the race I like is gonna go off in 12 mins. its the 6th:

Nos. 1 and/OR 2, both good odds, should hit zacta. So far I've been nailing HUGE odds horses at Philly today that ran 3rd and paid VERY nice show prices. Hopefully, the no. 1 or 2 this race will do a little better.
Looking for a longshot? That would be no. 6, Cadence King, in this 6th. Go lightly on this one, no need to pound a hoss going off (right now) at 20-1.

Peepers, ya gotta check out the results yourselfs for this one. I'm kinda busy today and won't make it back here.

GOOD LUCK 65 whatever you're up to today, and that goes for Hammy as well.

Peepers.. DON'T BOTHER. Not one of the bastages even landed in the Zuppa! :0039

DO watch for that Cadence hoss though. He flew through the middle fractions, took that last turn about 10 wide (no exaggeration). I'll be watching for him IF he runs in this class next time. Hammy, put it in yer notebook ;)

You know, I think that may have been the worst I EVA did at this track... picked FOUR horses and not one even hit the Zuppa. I prob. couldn't do that if I tried.

Sorry, but this thread kept me interested in Philly and guess what?... . . I downloaded the pps and RUSHED through it cause race 7 was the only remaining race worth playing today. I came up with 2 longshots, nos. 7 and 9, 24-1 and 17-1 respectively. What happened?

The longer shot finished THIRD, of course. Today was something else.

See you in the FB zoo, 65. I HOPE the luck continues.
