This is good news. My dad is a big 49ers fan and fucking hates him.
My dad is a pastor at a baptist church and only says the F word when speaking about Harbaugh.

SHOULD BE A GOOD MOVE FOR EVERYONE INVOLVED....THINK HE IS A GREAT MOTIVATOR OF YOUNG IMPRESSIONABLE COLLEGE PLAYERS NOT MEN MAKING MILLIONS...ALTHOUGH HE HAD A GOOD RUN IN NFL...MICHIGAN SHOULD BE IN GOOD HANDS TO GET THINGS TURNED AROUND...NOT A FAN BUT I HAVE A LOT OF RESPECT FOR THE PROGRAM.
NOW IF WE COULD GET BEAMER TO STEP DOWN GRACEFULLY

They need to hire Strother Martin since half the team seems to be either coming or going from San Quentin.
Say what you want about Harbaugh, he may be arrogant, a ball of fire on the sidelines and have an EGO the size of San Francisco but he can coach. He took a franchise that was a shadow of itself and turned them into contenders. Before he arrived, S.F. hadn't sniffed a chance at a Championship in decades. I am sure there is a lot more to this story then we know currently.
It will be interesting to see who replaces him and how well they do. I will say it will likely be no where near what Harbaugh has accomplished.
York and Roman have it figured out though cough/cough. York got his stadium and the fan base will always be there. Not sure about the winning though.
