Giants -7 over Det ****
At the start of the season..wait..even before that..Giants get Coughlin as the coach. Half of all Giant fans said" no..he's a drill sargent..out of touch..not in touch with todays players". The other half said"great..these prima donna's like Strahan, etc did nothing the last half of the season.
I was kinda in the middle leaning on another coach besides Tom.Then this summer the 10 players filed a grievance because he was keeping them in practice to long. The fines about showing up late when your really on time. "All meeting start at 5.30 but I want you there 5 minuts early. When Strahan and others showed up at 5.27,they were all fined.
C'mon Tom,concentrate on freak'in winning games and cut all the BS.Your OL sucks,Tike fumbles not only every other time he carries the ball.LB's are all gone.DB's have 2 rookie starting, injuries, etc Your famos "INJURY Speech".
"I don't like guys that get injured all the time".People get hurt Tom..c'mon

Well the Giants are 4-1.There OL is playing great.I didn't even get into the QB controversy.Warner or Eli.Tike is playing like an all pro.DL and LB's have played well.DB's with a 5th round rising star in Wilson.Warner can still throw.
Damn..Me and about 3.2 million fans, the media, etc were dead wrong.Coughlin and his staff are coaching their ass's off.
I had a meeting at my school last week and asked everyone in a memo " Meeting starts at 2.10 pm but I want everyone to be 5 minuts early".Half our staff didn't get it but thank god for the teachers room and football fans. They explained it was one of Boxes ploys..

Giants win today and cover.no need to break down the game.this is all you need to know.
Giants had the bye week and no one wants that when you hot. Someone asked Tike Barber that the other day.His answer was"Do you guys have any idea what a bye week is with Coach Coughlin"
"We are ready and prepared".
Lions are banged up.Giant sp teams are still bad but I bet you they worked on that all week.

Packers -3.5 over Cowboys ** favre just looking at Cowboy defense.
Saints +3 over Raiders *** do you guys realize who the raider qb is??? 8 straight losses with Kerry..
Pats -6 over Jets ** Jets crash despite lyr stats, etc.
Jags +9 over Colts *
KC -4 over Falcons * season is over if they KC goes 1-5. Might be over anyway but Atl is 4-1

and a side note..only 3 teachers showed up late to my meeting last week.but they had bus duty....

Lions +7 very generous, im not even sold that g-men win this straight up see them due for a letdown. though i do agree they are playing VERY well. Dont see this as a good spot
Lions +7 is the play in my opinion

willie i understand that wideouts williams and akeem are most likely out and the lion rushing attack is horrible. warner throwing against a terrible secondary and barber NOT fumbling this year. like the gmen here ALOT. :argue:

Willie..if fassell was coaching I would agree.Typical Giants, etc. They did go on the road and beat GB and Dallas.Beat clev and Wash. I know there noy good teams.Lions are playing good despite GB's blowout.
Under Fassell the Jints were 1-6 after a bye week.He gave them off a few days.Coughlin gave them 1 extra day and got down to buisness. And Coughlin was 5-3 after byes week.
I didn't break down the game.If Roy and Hakim were healthy them maybe I'd back off.But the running game is hurting too.
Warner gets protection now.Shockey at TE and Amani is a threat and of course Tike....GL
