"The board of trustees has yet to determine the precise timing of Paterno?s exit, but it is clear that the man who has more victories than any other coach at college football?s top level and who made Penn State a prestigious brand will not survive to coach another season. Discussions about how to manage his departure have begun, according to the two people"

Really hate seeing this happen for both JoePa and the victims... I'm extremely blessed to have lived during this legendary coaches tenure...

Fuck that. He is not a victim. He is a piece of filth who opted by his own free will to allow his friend to continue raping children in order to serve the interests of a football program. Paterno, the administrators and the WR coach should all die in jail. Sandusky should be castrated and hung.

Well... I wasn't there nor do I know what exactly happened... But either way, It's not my play to pass judgement... I think what Sandusky did is vile and disgusting, but he'll have to stand before his ultimate judgement one day

I'll gladly pass judgement on Paterno after reading the reports. Paterno was told about a 10yo boy being anally raped. 7 years later Sandusky was still alllowed to hold OVERNIGHT youth camps using his cache as a former coach. How Paterno can sleep at night knowing that he covered for a child molester is beyond me.

I had the same feeling about Joe Pa until I read the 23 page indictment that Jack has posted in the General Discussion forum. It is very apparent that this was swept under the rug by Joe, the AD and the VP. It's just goddamn sickening and I hope the old bastard doesn't die anytime soon, that would just be a blessing to him. I hope he has to live through this trial atleast and see what sitting on his hands all those years did to some of these children.....ALL FOR THE SAKE OF PSU!!

Who knows what all was said. I doubt Paterno would shrugg off comments like that. I also read that what was initially reported was that the two were horsing around. Paterno turned it over to Curley/Schultz as Sandusky was no longer coaching at the time.

We'll see if said victim ever comes out and what the witness actually claimed to have seen. Supposedly the witness took a job with Penn State after this so he must NOT have been too distraught over it.

Wow. It must be tough to take deep breaths with your head planted so deeply in the sand.

Story was released in March. And then bottled.

Urben Meyers reportedly stated publicly that he would take the reigns at Penn State if Joe Pa went out on his own terms.

Urben Meyer recently purchased property four miles from Penn State facility.

Discuss.

It is in the grand jury report that the witness heard "slapping sounds" in the shower and then witnessed Sandusky having anal sex with a boy aprroximately 10 years old.
