well this happened sooner than expected lol. tread lightly fellas like jack said usually everyone jumps on just when a brick wall is about to be hit.

I hope he wins his next 50 but over time things tend to even out to the houses advantage. This shit aint easy no matter what anyone says.

but i agree just post your plays and move on. no need to make promises and chest pumpings. we all wanna win. But i still see a hidden agenda here. more guppies waitn to be harpooned is all. Hope I am wrong but willing to bet I am not.

THATS FO SURR

Jack is writing the trueth,i'm proud of you Jack for adding the cautionary word.It was exactly what I thought when I saw the total plays at 20 something. Its the same principle as what made 900 numbers so deadly for a while, except people here get it for free."Someone else knows more than me","I don't have to do any work",blah,blah,blah.......theres no free lunch, there never is, and its more fun (and possible) to win on your own.

Just play the teams you know and don't follow blindly. That's how you get burned. Happens too much in college playing these smalltime schools with bloated records.

Pay attention and just follow 2 or 3 good cappers.

There is so much Wisdom in this thread for betters. Being a tailer for College basketball ( if I did my own bets I would ruin my accounts ) it took me a long time to learn this lesson.....When you come late to a hot streak do you still ride it? It took a few times being on the down side of a hot streak( because they do even out over time) to say HELL NO!!! I wish I would have been there for his run from the start but I missed it. Strong words of Wisdom from the Boss man people. That's why we all love this site.

btw, why did you quit posting under your other username? just wondering.

:com: Not another one of those. Can't say it is surprising. Probably won't be long before a crash/burn/name change. :scared

Classy response Wise. As you can see, success brings a great deal of attention and sometimes unwanted drama. Congrats on the great start - and don't get caught up in any of the drama. Hopefully you're streak will continue - we're all here for the same reason!

the odds of getting 16 heads when flipping a coin 20 times is roughly 0.129% which equivilates to 1.2 times every thousand times u try it. ill take my chances with this guy rather then flipping a coin.

i didnt take into account his NBA and NHL record cause i couldnt find any binomial distribution tables higher then 20 and im too lazy to run the formula and figure it out myself.

i understand being weary but numbers can't lie. and i highly doubt this guy has tried this 1,000 times with different names at different sites. i say roll with him til he gets cold. some people just get on a hot streak and get a good feel on teams and college ball in general. i remember box and one i think a few years back was hitting at a pretty good clip for quite awhile there, although not many people noticed cause he doesnt post his record. my wallet noticed!... shiit, i even went 11-0 at one point on plays i posted on another site a few years back. i say ride the guy whos hot until he gives us a reason not to, thats how ive made money doing this. usually one person cant stay hot forever, and that means all of us who do our own work. we need each other to make money. thats whats great about this site.

hidden agenda? lets not speculate on that until the time comes if it does. good luck wise, i will continue to tail ya. thanks for makin me money this week, might not have any money left if it werent for you

:iagree: I think alot of us knew that what has happened was going to happen. People tend to gravitate towards people who have success and become needy as they try to feed off it. Now, theres nothing wrong with that - its the purpose for a forum like this. But, it can get dangerous (and annoying I'm sure) when people basically beg and rely solely on one person's hard work and capping efforts. I for one have enjoyed your posts Wise, and appreciate the effort that you have graciously provided to us. Whether or not the streak continues on its current pace is irrelevant. Good luck today bud.
