John Daly quitting golf

but he does make a lot of sense that he is taking other players spots, young guys that have been grinding and playing much better than him
but I will always be a Daly fan, the guy had it to the highest in sports at one time {money wise} and he is just a good ol boy from Arkansas that couldnt handle all that much money and cameras
and being a good ol boy from Alabama that at one time had a chance, I would have been the same way if I had what he did:scared

I dont think he was ever a victim of cameras and money. I think his life was destined for many problems with or without it. If anything the money and fame probably saved his ass from a single wide that doubled as a meth house. I like the dude, but his ass was going to bomb with or without golf.
all I said that I had a chance...was offered 50k twice in my younger years, way before you even thought about playing but I had the sense to not take peoples money knowing that I didnt have the desire to practice and put the time in....unlike some people :0corn
