he may fail tonite..but nobody who has watched the kid play would ever believe it would be because of lack of effort or prep..

not hard to tell the kid has been ..."Johnny Football" since the first time all the other 10 year olds in the state couldn't stop him from picking up first downs..

of course there will be those who equate what could be instead of what has been..

Wow! He was pretty damn awesome on that opening drive!

his speed is unreal on the field ... you see how he dusted those DBs ... I watched Bama guys with angles wave as he went by them ... had us down 20-0 before making the adjustments .. and BBC is "part" right that game did make the season but look what he did from like game 5 on when they turned him loose

Honestly who gives two f***s about the hype. The guy can play football, maybe I'm be overly optimistic but I think TaM wins by 7-10 points. I watched a lot of their games(most of which I won money on) but only saw a few of okl games (most of which I was displeased by their performance.) Landry is a good qb but when the pressure is on his accuracy goes down a lot. TaM front 4 are somwthing to watch out for. When the pressure comes to Johnny, the guy can make throws on the run or just take off in open space.

I like the dual threat qb in this one.

The only thing I was wrong about is how many points they will win by. Even though Landry has had 32+ completions the majority has been dump offs, what a scrub. Talk about shit the bed.. :0002 :00hour

He's not bad. Remember his name. He's gonna be good.

500+ in a post-heisman is unreal, but he's gonna have to work even harder next year with a new line, but he's got the speed, moves and pocket awareness to manage it.

Hate the nickname but the guy can damn sure play.

The only nickname I hate even more is Matty Ice.I guess it fits to nickname a guy that's never won a playoff game after cheap beer.

he has a different running motion--kind of like a lot of short steps and he can cut so fast. Looks like a cross between a ballerina and a waterbug.:0074

They broke the mold when they made that cat. Huge feet, runs faster than most rb's and throws better than Doug Flutie did. If you saw Joe Theisman play at ND back years ago (showing my age now), you could see some comparisons, but this kid is in a class of his own. Great college player, he'll change positions in the NFL or eat up the CFL!
