never seen it. Sounds like something I will never see anyway so I couldn't care about that hag.

Hope this helps,

i have never seen the show either but am somewhat familiar with the story. imo this is another example of tv at it's worst. its one thing to exploit the parents. they are old enough to decide if they want to come across looking like fools. but imo it's crossing the line when children are exploited. many times kids are scarred & frightened when their parents separate & divorce & in some cases they never get over it. why capitalize on that ?

it amazes me that networks or sponsors want to associate themselves to this type of shit. i guess they are attracted to it because it's an easy buck.

it's also puzzling to me why viewers find this so entertaining that they have to watch it. what's the attraction ? do people get a kick out of watching other people fail ?

i don't get it...but then again i don't get why cars slow down to watch an accident....

They are being paid 75,000 dollars per episode to tape the show, this is the only episode that was negative in any way. In the past they seemed to get along okay with occasionally arguments, which is normal in healthy relationships, I even argue with my wife from time to time:142smilie...Kate comes off as a bitch now, Jon is not taking it anymore and I do not blame him, if this season is all about diivorce and fighting I am done with it, however it does make good tv and would not surprise me if they are doing this for ratings, who knows...

And now this

Pa. Dept of Labor probing 'Jon & Kate' complaintMay 29, 2009, 12:27 PM EST
WERNERSVILLE, Pa. (AP) -- Jon, Kate and their eight children have attracted a huge TV audience, screaming tabloid headlines and, now, a state labor investigation.

The Pennsylvania Department of Labor says it's looking into whether the hit reality show "Jon & Kate Plus 8" is complying with child labor laws.

The TLC series follows Jon and Kate Gosselin as they raise their eight young children, including 8-year-old twins and sextuplets who just turned 5. The show drew nearly 10 million viewers for its fifth-season premiere Monday following reports of trouble in the Gosselins' marriage.

Labor Department spokesman Justin Fleming tells The Associated Press that the department is looking into a complaint against the show.

TLC says it "fully complies" with state laws and regulations.

of course they are doing it for ratings...why else would they show this crap ?

the network execs have shown that over the years they will market almost anything for a buck..but imo its more revealing that 10 million people are watching this...i wonder if these same people would watch the show if their kids were exploited like this.....

this couple & the nut job who added the 8 kids to the already 6 kids should be given hard time for impersonating a parent...

My sentiments exactly. I have no desire to see a family of ten get destroyed by divorce and especially none to sit through that type of melodrama and ultimate sadness that it will inflict upon their kids. I am not saying that people can't get divorced or can't have eight kids but I have better things to do than watch six five year olds (get it, they're all big dumb moose) get they're little worlds torn apart. Ugh.

Hope this helps,
