You have to love Faux. They are comparing Cronkite's Vietnam stand against Jon Stewart making fun of the president. Yep. Stewart is now off the Obama band wagon. I can just picture those old white grandmas that skul watches this shit with. :mj07: :mj07: :mj07: :mj07:

Colbert's show is much, much funnier.

Stewart went off the deep end because his mother is a teacher so his perception is teachers are getting screwed by the republicans so he went from funny to bitter.

He thinks he actually is running a news show now...and maybe he is for those too dumb to read a newspaper...but, absent wit, bitterness is not very attractive to watch.

Do you understand that those of us that like Stewart like him because he doesn't go hook line and sinker for whatever the Dems do? He is critical of them and wants what's best for this country. Fox News, on the otherhand, will stay the party line know matter what. You're too stupid to see that this is a big endorsement for Stewart.

Really? So now Fox is actually comparing Jon Stewart with a real life JOURNALIST, and arguably the best ever, while continually calling him a comedian? Yes, this is responsible editorial, kudos to Fox again as they consistently watch the point soar by their blank faces.

Hope that helps,

Think about how stupid Skully feels....wait, no, he still doesn't get it. He's a Fox News guy. Facts and truth don't resonate.

Actually Gary, I think Skull might even agree with me on this one. I don't get into these political arguments that often and my comment wasn't directed at Skully at all. It just amazes me how often so called "Journalists" simply just put a slant on things and have the nerve to call it news.

What I saw in that clip is a "Reporter/Journalist" that has an agenda and was too lazy to find a story, disseminate the facts, and transpose all of that into a reportable news story!! Instead, he found a video clip of an entertainer, entertaining and then irresponsibly reports that on a supposed Editorial New show. Pure ignorance at its best.

I believe Skul is a pretty smart cat. While I am not a Republican, I am also not blinded by my beliefs and I have to believe that a shitty effort like that is just as upsetting to him as it is to me. While he may be more willing to look past it, and that is fine, I certainly don't see him jumping in to defend the idiot.

Fox isn't the only station that employs dumbasses. It seems like it sometimes but they aren't.

Hope that helps,
FDC
