I know. I’m sad Georgia lost. I wanted a dramatic semi. Canes and beck vs the evil bulldogs. Would have been a great script. Plus an extra 25 k profit wouldn’t have hurt !!!!! 😢

True its relative now that I think about it. 4k to me is incredible, but comparable to my bigger size bets would be like me winning $200 instead of $1,000, which would trigger same feeling. BUT you're super hot lately so positive momentum is great, and you cashing out was a 15k swing for you I'd imagine, which was a 15K bet victory in essence.

Rocky's Temperance Truths: :kurby

As you age, your body processes alcohol differently, increasing risks for falls, accidents, and dangerous drug interactions, while worsening conditions like high blood pressure, diabetes, osteoporosis, memory loss, heart disease, liver damage, cancer, and mental health issues like depression, even at moderate drinking levels. Aging reduces lean body mass, slows metabolism, and decreases water content, meaning alcohol stays in the system longer, causing higher blood alcohol concentration and greater intoxication, affecting coordination, vision, and reaction time.
Why Risks Increase with Age
Body Composition Changes: Less muscle and water, more fat.
Slower Metabolism: Liver processes alcohol less efficiently.
Increased Sensitivity: Higher blood alcohol levels from the same amount of drink.
More Medications: Higher chance of dangerous interactions with prescriptions.
Specific Health Risks
Accidents & Injuries: Falls, fractures, and car crashes due to impaired balance, coordination, and slower reactions.
Worsening Chronic Conditions: Diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, osteoporosis, and ulcers.
Cancer: Increased risk for breast, liver, and other cancers.
Mental Health: Worsened depression, anxiety, and sleep problems, often leading to using alcohol as a poor self-medication.
Brain Health: Memory loss, cognitive impairment.
Digestive Issues: Stomach bleeding, liver damage.
Immune System: Weakened immune response, increasing infection risk.
Key Takeaway
Even moderate drinking can pose greater risks for older adults!!!!!

I wonder what prescription side effects are????

I see a new marketed medication. They never say what it's for but only state the potential side Fx.

One rule that I always have, if I'm drinking is to eat, and drink some water.

Lean protein is key!!!!

No good in most cases.. But some have no choice. i worry that my sleeping aids that I've taken for decades like clonazepam and Ambien, may cause issues line dementia.... but i take them in tiny amounts break them into tiny pieces. Sleeping never easy for me.

Love Bushmills 16 there's an empty warrior we just finished on the shelf of our cigar club.
Legend has it that Templeton Rye was al capone’s favorite. he would have two tanker cars of it delivered during prohibition— one for his speakeasy’s and one for his personal consumption.
When the current owners started distilling the original recipe again in tiny templeton iowa, they weren’t sure what they had. What they had was a huge hit, and they have since built a large production facility in templeton.
