The hindsight bias in evaluating these decisions is off the charts. I get there are some factors related to how the team is playing, game flow, etc, but those are marginal and many of the decisions people complain about are cut and dry and no external factor could tip them into being incorrect.

And yes, you are trying to "come out ahead" over a million simulations. The games are a series of decisions - nothing is going to work out 100% either way. It's not even really that complicated to understand.

With that being said, Ben Johnson was fucking absurd last night in the 1H and got away with it lol.

This is why I think analytics are just a bit over the top.

I wasn’t around. Should have kept pounding overs. This is the exact game i figured with the end back and forth. Just too many early botches
