Josh Beckett allows a .189 batting average - That's as good as it gets!!

This kid and the under are automatic takes the way he is pitching.

Compare his batting average to these guys.

Curt Schilling allows .211
Randy Johnson allows .200
Pedro Martinez allows .175
Roger Clemons allows .203

Beckett is in this range and you only have to lay -135 AT HOME. The overnight total of 8.5 is generous.

The side and the total are must plays

I ask, isn't it possible Florida touches cincy for 5-6-7 runs ?

percentage wise probably the better side of the total no doubt,

FLA closer takes away top of the ninth that would only be 8

innings to deal with. Both teams hit righties better. Dessens

better than Hamilton and the Marlins got 5 & 14 big hits tonight.

Like the side at fair price with a solid team that needs wins in a

tight NL EAST race, but 2-3 cincy runs could pop this one over.

A word of caution. . . .

J Beckett has been dealing with a bad blister that actually put him on the DL. Don't expect him to go more than 6 innings.

Good Luck with your play
In my opinion, either way you go, this is a coin flip, 50% - 50% deal. . . . .
