Josh Gordon's one-year suspension for violations of the NFL's substance abuse policy has been upheld on appeal.
Gordon's one-year suspension begins today, which technically means he won't be allowed around the Browns for 2015 OTAs, minicamp and most of training camp.
Perhaps the NFL will grant him reinstatement earlier, based on good behavior and the absurd delay with the appeal ruling. Regardless, the the Browns will now have to go to battle for the whole 2014 season with Jordan Cameron as the centerpiece of their passing game and Andrew Hawkins/Miles Austin as complements.
