Hey brother!
Here goes....
I've had it/been using it for 2 full days now and I LOVE this thing! Everything's superfast and I'm sure that if I were into gaming, it'd be able to handle most of the latest and greatest. Since I only use basic office and browsers, it's more than adequate. And did I mention that it's pretty damn fast?!! LOL
I've also just downloaded Quicktime to watch a few video submissions by students and no glitches whatsoever. And I'm really digging the audio on this thing. So, in other words, so far so good!
Now for the negative aspects....
This intelligent touchpad is quite sensitive and is taking me a bit to get used to. I've figured out that I should just "hover" in the middle of the pad to navigate the cursor. Otherwise, I have no idea what it's going to do, since I've yet to read instructions! HAHA! LOL
Also, windows 8 has many features that I really have no use for. I prefer windows 7 much better - especially in terms of layout.
And thanks for the tip re: windows 8. Highly unlikely that I'd ever find the control panel if I had to actually search for it. So that typing in anywhere feature is pretty handy.
So all in all, especially for the price, I'm ecstatic with the purchase! The only real drawback is that my GF made me buy an official version of office as opposed to installing a cracked version. That added to the cost, but....whatever....I think that I still got a great deal!
Thanks again for the tips!
Peace!
