How bout a little bet.....Michigan vs OSU....loser leaves MadJack's?


Remember posting this in your rant... Well here it is Mr. Big Mouth... Someone to call you out after you put your foot in your mouth once again... The loser leaves MadJack after the Nov.23rd game. If OSU loses to both Purdue and Illinois it doesn't matter. All that matters is the final score around 3:45 that Saturday. Let me know what you think and we'll go from there. And while you are at it maybe it's time to change that " '02 Nat'l Champs" as everyone knows that was decided months ago with the loss @ND. Don't back down now or perhaps your true yellow colors will come out for everyone to see...

My challenge was to ctownguy because he is always piping in with his blah blah blah and quite frankly...he pisses me off.

It's kinda hard to say that you don't like someone when you've never met them, but amongst the thousands of members at this site, I can say that there are 2 that I don't like. (I'm sure there are more who would say that about me, but I don't care)

Anyways....I'm always up for a challenge...and though it wasn't intended for you, I'll take the same bet with you on 1 condition.

Since Hoops was so eager to jump into the mix (and I don't think he's an Ohio Stink fan) bring him along with ya...and you're on!

Don't worry about what happens in that game. Either way Iowa will be in the Rose Bowl. The only thing at stake would be a solo Big Ten title rather than sharing it, but that's not that big of deal. If Iowa wins out, they'll be in the Rose Bowl. Ohio St. will either be in the Fiesta (most likely scenario ) or if they lose, in the citrus.

BTW Jsmooth and bigbadguy- 'bets' like this are idiotic. Nobody is going to leave the site over this nonsense. Now, if you want to put up some cash Jsmooth (whatever coins you have available), that's a different story.

I believe that there is some talk of the Rose Bowl passing on Iowa and taking Notre Lame if Ohio State and Iowa win out and OSU ends up in the Fiesta Bowl. That would be the crime of the century if you ask me, and just one more of the thousands of reasons why the BS, errr, BCS system is such a joke.

Also, saw once where you mentioned visiting Big-10 stadiums to follow your Buckeyes. Ever been to Kinnick in Iowa City?

JSMOOTH - amazingly you must lump all Buckeye fans together in your head as the last two years we bantered back and forth. I not only questioned your so-called "predictions" for the Big-Ten this year but laughed when you had the Buckeyes ranked 6th if I remember correctly. The funniest thing was you rambled on and on about how OSU kickers were the worst in the conference when in fact Nugent has been arguably the best. It makes no difference whether you remember or not all that matter is I'm calling your bluff. No where in your previous post did you mention "bundling" multiple people in this bet. How you manage to attempt bringing Hoops into this is beyond me but this has nothing to do with him. Should you want to put money on this, that is fine with me. I don't understand how you can make exceptions or try saying that it will only work if others are involved. While it might be true that I post sparingly, nearly every day I am reading other's posts and watching the trash talking go on and on. All I am looking for is are you IN or are YOU OUT!

kosar - the only thing I view as "idiotic" would be making a challenge that you can't or won't back up. All I am doing is pushing my chips to the middle of the table to call his bluff. That's just people talking. The Rose Bowl wouldn't break their tradition for anything less than a National Championship game. Iowa fans travel as well as Notre Dame fans, eat and drink more and will get their ratings no matter who plays. It's the only game in town at that time slot.

Hawkeyes won't be passed over for the Irish if they win out. The Minnesota game, however . . .

The only thing that I will say about this debate is that you guys who grew up in the mid-west or the south are very fortunate. You had the opportunity to see big time football. Growing up in NYC, I did not have the pleasure of seeing this. Since moving out here I have had the opportunity to see a few ASU games & thought the whole atmosphere was truly exhilarating.

It will be a shame that Madjack's will lose posters over something idiotic as this. Everyone, who takes the time to contribute to this forum is valuable, & they should be treated with respect.
