I've noticed. Nice run. How do you you decide which games to play? Any system or just pure stats and intelligence?
I use a number of systems...some of which I have created others have been around for a long time...most of them are math based or situations...from there I do break down the game myself to decide if its worth it...there are a few games that I play 100% on my own, examples would be NYY tt yesterday going against Bartolo or the day before the travel situation when I faded the Yanks based on their travel schedule...I worked in Baseball for a long time and have some unique experience when it comes to situations
the two totals I have posted for today are from 2 separate systems...The Cincy under is from something I call "Series Totals", I have explained it here before I think but I basically find based on recent numbers what I think is the series that has the best chance at going over or under 2/3 or 3/4 times depending on the series...I play that series total in each game regardless of situation until the series is won...example: the last 2 days PIT was a qualifier for me playing the under, the first 2 games in the series went under so I crossed that series off my list...Example 2: The Cincy under qualifies but it lost last night so I will be on it today and most likely tomorrow...now those rules aren't always written in stone but for the most part thats the way it works...this month this system is 11-3
I use an age old system using the Sargarin Rankings that anybody can have access too...I don't adhere strictly to the system but it helps me circle games initially...Example: today the NYM under comes from this system, you have two top 20 pitchers in what I call XERA...XERA is what a pitchers real ERA should be based on all pitching stats homeruns, strikouts per inn, walks, hits per inning, swing and miss ratio, you get the picture...this XERA allows you to see if a pitcher has been lucky or unlucky on the bump throughout the year...this month the system is 7-4
Picking sides is a bit more complicated, I use a long drawn out math formula that takes about an hour and half to complete each day...I developed this last year but have been adding tweaks to it since...yesterday the plays were stl, was, chc, and det...that's alot of plays most days it only turns out 1 maybe 2 plays but it has been highly successful so its been worth the time spent crunching numbers...I haven't defined how long into the season I need for the numbers to work...this month this math based system is 16-3...these numbers will also find the occasional team total
I have one other system that only goes into affect 2-3 days a month, just happens one of those days is today...not going to spill the beans on it but you play dogs only, its high volume, and if you read post 1 in this thread it is briefly explained...hope this helps, apologize for my writing skills I was no much of an English major...gl today
