Things about to start heatin' up this Friday!!!! John Burkett versus the cold Diamondback Bats!!!! Schilling----Fastball pitcher that will challenge hitters>>>>Atlanta good fastball hitting line-up and Bench---Cam.... Not really sure at this point if i will play this game...But i am thinking about many factors!!!! Humidity at 50---ball could be carrying well...against a hard thrower like Schilling!!! Although Burkett is a smart--spot kind of picture--i believe that Arizona has good enough hitters to get to Burkett!!!! Again with Gonzo---Grace----Finley--along with a solid bench>>> Showed patients against Glavine and hit some balls hard....I believe the Diamondbacks feel good going into this game with Schilling and feel confident in a older John Burkett>>> Leaning towards the over---I definetly feel Arizona is going to come out agressive with the bats and on the bases---try and get 4 maybe 5 runs--they might need it in order to relax that shaky bull-pen!!!! Fellas Jump on board---let's make some money!!Feeling real good of late---can not explain it---- thinking on another level!!!! Not to worry folks---I'm on this game and will come to a conclusion by tommorrow!!!!! Again not trying to be over-confident---but this is something new and different---we all have a dream????? "if you can not fiqure it out---find someone who can" TIMEISMONEY

On the course!
At least he wrote why he liked his play. That is a refreshing change of pace from 80% of the "info" that gets posted here.

Good luck in your games, fellas.

He sounds like a tout, but his info is alright, and he has been warned that the first time a 900 number, website, or something along those lines shows up he is out, so what the hell, keep posting :)

Well folks---the work is done and there is a right play tonight!!!! Believe me when i tell you!!!As stated before i believe Arizona will be coming out aggressive because history has shown that Burkett has the most trouble early on...Burkett---a great control picture will not walk to many guy which will give the Arizona some good pitches to hit!!! Burkett carreer era at night is 4.56----and he has pitched in October 8 times---7 of them being starts---In those games he is 4-0 with a 5.10 Era---wow that is high--especially against a solid hitting line-up such as Arizona... in these 8 games he pitched---55 hits--only 10 walks---In October----hitters are batting .311 against Burkett--- I look for much of the same tonight against Arizona---Arizona has the solid bench to come in and get timely hit off that nasty bullpen in Atlanta!!!! I know Arizona bats are cold but this is the game they can wake them up!!!!!! Burkett is not a great picture with guys on base Historically----- he is not a power picture that can get the big srikeout with guys on---- Now on Schilling----No team has faced this guy more than The Braves!!! Atl.. batting .252 against Schilling!!! He has given up 20 Hr 51 walks---and 172 hits--- No other team has more in any category!!! In October---Era 3.18----solid era--but not his best month---- Atlanta confident team right now---They will not be shut-out tonight- Humidity is at 50% and will drop before considerablly before game--time---this will give the ball that extra trave... Defense---With the exception A.Jones--Finley--Grace---Chipper---and possibly Jordan---is pretty weak---Although Giles has been playing well defensively---that is not how he made the big league club---Franco--Javier Lopez(ankle) Surhoff---M.Williams----Need i say more!!!! Trust me folks---I have been on this game more than i want to admit!!! and Honestly the over is the right play---- that is why I will be playing the Atl--Ariz. game over 7.5 tonight!!!! I believe the odds-makers feel the same way tonight putting the line at 7.5---the same as the Yankee game---that went under---in a American League game where the picther does not bat!!!!! Fellas---Tonight--is where the string of unders--come go an End.... "TIme is Money"

Hard to see Schilling giving up more than a run or two.

The thing I hate, is seeing the "big inning", like we had the other night. I am not sure that I like the total at all.

I don't want to risk any cash on Atlanta beating Schilling.....he is on fire. I think -140ish is a fair price in this game, and I would lean on Arizona.

Agreed---Arizona may be the pick!! Staying away from it though---Atlanta confidence is high but John Burkett simply will not get it done tonight.... He might give up 4 or 5 in 6 innings... the over is a solid play---Might see Camaniti tonight-------Loves to hit Fastballs!!!

On a side note...

How often has SCHILLING gone the distance 3 straight times in his career? OR how often has ANY pitcher done this in recent times? I know SCHILLING is a workhorse, and loved to complete his own games in PHILLY, but that was then, he's not that young anymore. He's thrown two great complete games in the playoffs so far, and I'm not doubting his ability to do it again, I'm just curious if he might get into a little trouble trying to do a little more than his body is capable of doing tonite. I do think AZ will get to BURKETT and I doubt if the ATL BP can continue their remarkable stretch. JB will be lucky if he gets thru six, so that's two innings of someone, then possibly SMOLTZ if ATL is leading. IF ATL is losing already by 3 or more, do they use their MAIN guys, or bring in others to mop up??? If KARSAY, REMLINGER, REED, SMOLTZ, etc don't come in, well, we may have another big inning again, but this time ARIZ. I doubt if SCHILLING leaves the game unless he's at 120 or more, or has a 3-4 run lead. He'll go 8 if it kills him....

I love it when some 1 posts stats....its just what a coach looks at when going against an opposing pitcher....I like his writeups...some feel ur jealousy innavation but its up to us to make our own decision...nice job....As for Fletcher in the 3rd base box making the calls I trusted this person in making the calls....and as for a hitter ya must trust ur management....nice writeup....spoken as a true scout of the game
