YTD:1-0 (+$134)
As always, baseball season brings out big chalk. If I am going to play the chalk, most times I parlay it (or them in some cases) with another game or two.
2 Teamer: (200/255.05)
Boston -1.5(-165)
Stl - 240
......Morris rededicated to baseball after a long grieving period for his friend Kyle. He is more focused, we know he is good, and the Cardinal offense will help lead the way to the NL Central pennant.
......Pedro is tough in April, but he tends to have a tough time with the D-rays. Tough to call how Kennedy will throw for the Rays, but a poor offense should struggle against the dominant pitcher.
CWS (168/100)
Kansas City did jack squat to improve their team in the off season. The new collective bargaining agreement opened the door for teams like them, and the Royals just pissed it away. Outside of Sweeney and Ibanez, the Royals have major question marks. Beltran will begin the season on the DL.
The sox bring some pop to the ballpark, and Buehrle gets the job done. He's not flashy, but comes ready to play.
Minny (171/100)
.....Twins open up in a pitcher's park (although the left field wall at Comerica has been moved in to accomodate the road team, seeing as how D-town has no real offensive power hitter to speak of yet) and will be bringing a blossoming offense.
Atlanta (185/100)
.....Guerrero out for the first 2 games of the season due to suspension. Maddux losing some steam, but is still one of the best pitchers in the game.
Waiting for the team totals to come out as there are 1, maybe 2 that I might be interested in.
