The quarantine bit is really showing it's ugly colors today - short fields and only 8 races.
Only two races look borderline playable...

3rd race: Only 6 entered (blah), but my ratings tell me that the race belongs to one of only 2 horses. Yeah, it's a maiden race which is usually not playable, but there is enough information for this race. NEITHER Is favored too... no. 4 or no. 5 should be the wiener. I can't split them by handicapping so I have to see them, but a WIN, only bet on one of them should offer some value IF you believe each has a 50/50 chance of winning. BOTH are rated way higher than anything else in this race.

7th race: There's a horse in this race, no. 8, Dangerous Maize that I've been looking for ever since watching this one in it's last race. Got off to a bad start but I just LUVED the way it picked it up all the way down the backstretch; it's stride, appearance, and it's ability to turn it on. I did NOT do the heavy duty figuring for this race cause I could see that AT LEAST 3 or more others in this race would get rated higher. Yeab, it's an "iffy" prop. but a small WIN bet on this one gotta be worth a shot. Oh, it's M.L. is 12-1.

That's it for P:illy racing for today and I'm afraid the rest of this week will look the same.

Thanks for your confidence, DT. But, my bankaroo is telling me that I probably shouldn't even be posting a thing and lose OTHER MJer's moola. The environment at Philly with what's going on there ain't good for me at all. Although that 7th race pick was just a bad pick anytime; that one only showed some early speed and packed it in early.

I played tries in the 8th and the result was 1-7-3 for $300+. A 1-3-7 would been MUCH better for me. But, you know, this stuff is all about "shoulda, coulda, woodas" and near misses.

Nice pick on that Pitt/Cuse UNDER.... EZ moola in that one. :toast:

I could use a little B.C., they just fell behind in the 3rd quarter. Worser, I don't like the way the game has ben going. May need some help from the late games but there's still plenty of time in that BC game. BC are grinders and that ain't good as the clock keeps ticking.
