i think i was short-sighted in my play on cleveland vs detroit on sunday. shoulda waited till mcinnis came back in the lineup because the cavs have been on a tear with him at the point.

* mcinnis is back in the lineup today

* cavs lost both games and looked awful in the process while mcinnis was on the shelf

* absolutely vital game for the cavs as they conclude a 5-gm homestand and have some tough road games coming up. theyve slipped from 6th to 8th in the east while mcinnis was out

id give the cavaliers a very strong look tonight (more so in the 1st half because their 1h numbers with mcinnis in the lineup are eye popping). if the cavs dont get a convincing win today of phoenix in what now amount to almost a must-win, then they dont deserve to play in the post season.

id only consider em if they hold phoenix to < 55 in the first half. that would be an indication that their D is tightening up (relatively speaking of course, but it would mean that phoenix scored < 21 in the 2qtr). right now its porous
