Does one year of spring ball count?:mj07: realized very quickly It wasn't meant to be
6'2 315lbs recruited by Nebraska Mich and Wisconsin to play OT decided to stay home and work rental cars and get a partial foot amputation in stead. lol. I know you guys didnt make it or only played small time but I would have killed even for that. I loved football my whole life but because of head issue I wasnt allowed to play so as much as you may miss it I envy the fact you got a chance to play in college at all and I am sure none of you would change it either.
Tough break TM! Glad to know that you're alive and well and joining us all here on a weekly basis to discuss the game we alllove so much! Of the schools that recruited you, which would you have wanted to play for the most? I was recruited by Middle Tennessee State, Western Carolina, App State and a few other smaller ones. Decided to go the Invited Walk-On route to the ACC.....
Conducting a little survey.
5'10
180lbs
cornerr
and that is tiny
4.5 40
i just wasnt good enough
plain and simple
stood out cause of lesser competition
was only recruited by 3 schools
thiel, bethany, wash and jeff.
still remember every coach
good times
i on the other hand dont miss it
love golfing and softball
3 years of college ball burnt me out
lifting at 6 in the morning
get the fawk outta here....
more time then a full time job
enjoyed it for sure, but would never do it again
now, high school football, in a hearbeat...
but not college.....too much work when I wasnt good enough and had to also focus on school and i was one of 2 kids on the team that had a real job too....
worked in school library....
life was stressful to say the least
5'10" 180 lbs. is not that small for a college corner. A 4.5 40 isn't that bad at all ,either.
But why
do you
always
type
like this?
Played highschool football and than when I was a freshman at SMU in 1991 during orientation I remember someone from football team came up to me and asked me to play ball for them.
