This Tuesday is my 50th B-day and Angela has surprised me with a trip to Vegas Friday thru Monday next weekend.:00hour :00hour
I have not been in over 20 years, so looking forward to seeing the changes. We are staying at Paris and she has several things already planned. Friday night is open if anyone else is going to be in the area.

Saturday night going to Cirque "O", then dinner at Olives in the Bellagio afterwards, dinner reservations at Koi Sunday and the LA Comedy Club afterward.

Any comments about these restaurants???? Good choices?? Any ideas where to eat Friday night? Any good local spots close to the strip we need to check out for lunches??

Appreciate any input. Very cool surprise she threw at me. :toast:

I just got back from the Paris casino and stayed there 5 days. The good thing about the Paris casino is that it's connected to Ballys which both are a part of Harrah's. So I suggest when you 1st get there, you and the Ms get a players card to get comps after usage. Also, after hours, Bally has a live band that where you can sit and have drinks and enjoy. They play a variety of music but mostly the oldies but goodies. I'm 47 and I will admit even though I was staying at the Paris, I spent most of my nights at Ballys which again only takes you aprox 1-2 minutes once you reach the bottom floor of the elavators coming from your room. As far as the food goes, the Buffets at most places are the same in the Harrahs owed Hotels which includes Harrah's, Caesars, Paris, Flamingo, Imperial Palace, Bally's and Rio. Rio has a great Seafood Buffet. I suggest you try different places being that it's so many choices. Vegas was dead when I was there last week and never seen it that way before and I go damn near every 2 months. But everytime I go to Vegas I have a good time.

Well, just got back yesterday and had a great time. Ended up + 300 after all was said and done which is definitely a positive. Angela wanted to play Roulette, and we sat down and did not get back up for 3 hours. She hit 4 spins in a row with 3 bucks on each one, then several more after that. I just sat, watched in amazement, and drank Crown :00hour :00hour . Used nothing but the kids birthdays numbers and ours as well. Played tourist more than gambled, just to see it all. The "O" Cirque show at the Bellagio was awesome, sat middle in second row to where you could see all facial expressions. :SIB
Ate great meals, drank, and then drank more. Still buzzed on the plane flying back.:142smilie Like I said, had a great time and will be back. Sorry we missed you Andy, show started at 10:30. Call me when in the ATL.
