more pirate fodder....."Our whole right side hasn't been very productive," Manager Lloyd McClendon said before the Pirates demonstrated that again in a 3-1 loss to Houston yesterday.

That said. . .

"Right now, we're strapped," he said. "There hasn't been a lot of production in a lot of different areas. That makes it tough."

Or as General Manager Dave Littlefield said yesterday: "There are a multitude of things we want to improve upon."

On the course!
Rocky Cop-a-feel was a hot prospect before getting hurt and sent down for the Brewers.

I am not sure what we will se out of him tonight, but I am sure the Crew would love to win a series at home this season!

This may be their only chance.

Play hard, and winn, baby!

Item for the Milwaukee Sentinal...

"The ground crew at the Milwaukee Brewers new stadium has been ordered by the team owner to install padlocks on all of the bases. This is clearly an attempt to prevent Pirates Manager Lloyd McClenden from stealing them. An unidentified source stated that "the new bases were quite costly, and with the low budget we have been given, it would be hard to replace any missing pieces in the infield. It wasn't so bad when he stole first base in his own park, but we can't take any chances of this happening in Wisconsin"...
