BLG- I remember some things about the Bucknell game. Vividly remember the inbounds pass to Simien, and drunkenly yelling, "This is just like Christian Laettner!" Then he missed.

After that... it was a blur. And yeah, the first things I said when I woke up, "Did we just lose to fuc*ing Bucknell?"

Also had them pegged to win it all.

Scott, all fans like BLG and I can only wish that our team will ever be in a position to win 3 NC's in a row. I would absolutely kill for one. Just one.

I was born 1981 and grew up mostly in the worst years of history of USC football. Those were not all bad because USC won couple Rose Bowls and was as high as #2 in country in 1988. But some bad years as well and losing to rivals UCLA and ND yearly basis. OUCH!

I used to watch Florida St., Miami, Florida, ND, Penn St., Michigan, Nebraska and be jealous of their programs. REAL JEALOUS! Why can't USC be like them. My Dad experienced NC's. Why not me. :(

Then came Pete Carroll and the rest is history.

ALL ABOUT THE COACH!

This all can be taken away if Carroll leaves. Gotta relish it.

Reggie Bush lost the game for USC when he tried to lateral on the run in the first half. Very unlike Bush to make that kind of a mistake, especially in this NC game.

If USC scores there , game over.

Vince Young is gone. No way he stays. Goes for the money in NFL as they all do. New Orleans here he comes.

No 2 peat for USC.

I agree. Bush fawked up. That was prob. the difference. If USC did this against OU last year, it prob. play out the same way in being close game. Although USC D was better last year with leaders on it. USC executed and did not make stupid mistakes vs OU. = blowout.

If USC didn't make those 1h errors, USC might have easily blown out Texas. USC fawked themselves. Bush was the worst. Leinart never should have thrown the INT and why is USC passing when Texas has no answer to stop White? But USC didn't give Texas that INT. They earned it. Texas did not earn the Bush fumble and that was costly to USC.

somebody predicted that you would claim a second half hedge, Scott, in another thread. I enjoy your posts, and I have never bashed you; I've even bumped up your winners in the past, but this one REALLY screams bs. Nevertheless, nice run with your Trojans. GL!

Yeh the golden hedge at halftime. What a lifesaver. The book probably put him on hold and then hung up on him laughing.

it would be difficult to come back betting on USC next year when everyone would scream , yeh but what about the 25 k you lost in 2005

I dont think anyone at madjacks would do that though.

We a little too classy to bad mouth losses or remember them.

Kudos to you Scott...we were all wondering and hoping you made some kind of hedge in the In-Game thread...All said and done that USC team will go down as one of the best...you win some and you lose some and on any given night sometimes things just go the other way...and we've all been there at some point and time

CONGRATS TEXAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations to Texas team, Mack Brown and their fans. Especially Texas fans at this site. Both teams should be congratulated for a hard fought championship caliber game. USC lost the game to a very special player in Vince Young. I now know how other teams felt when Reggie Bush was making them look bad............it happens. Same with Leinart.

Surprisingly I don't feel bad about this loss. (sad I am but in a proud way) I knew USC was eventually going to lose, (i just hoped it was next year) but this is the type of game I wanted USC to lose. ND this year was one of them too. Both teams competed and both deserved to win. Fans should be proud of both teams.

It was a hell of a run. Few teams in D1A have won 34 in a row. USC makes that first down the game is over, but it was not to be. That's football.

Hookem Horns!

I like your style, my friend. You are a die hard fan, like me, but you are smart too.

I feel you, brother. I went to Duke, and I often bet Duke with my heart AND my head.

I felt like dying when my beloved Blue Devils lost in the 2004 Final Four to the DIRTBAG Jim Calhoun and his UConn squad of thieves and pillagers.

As you might remember, Duke was a 2 point underdog. My favorite player, Chris Duhon, hit a miracle prayer at the buzzer for what seamed like a meaningless 1 point loss. I celebrated, because I knew millions of people like us everywhere lost bank by betting against Duke.

I lost, however. Not only did my favorite team lose, but I lost bank, because I had bet the game straight up with one of my a-hole acquaintances.

Duhon's shot heard round the sports world

Hang in there; not that you need my support. USC already proved so much by winning two National Chamionships in a row and by stating that they were a force to be reckoned with.

Congrats to Texas, but a bigger congrats to Scott4USC, for being a winner as a fan and as a capper.

peace brohan,

Things that make you go hmmmmmmm!

ANYONE can fake a screenshot...this took all of five minutes to do and I wasn't even trying hard.

Ohhhhhhhh, I almost forgot...you have to click on the link (just like Scott's to see the screenshot) in order to see my transaction sheet which CLEARLY shows that I won $48,700.98 on Texas!

What a Scammer..

Unbelievable! Scott does a classy move to congratulate the Horns and he gets bashed for making a "hedge" play.

Good luck to you Scott! Thanks for all your insights this year.

Jcam and fellow doubters, go fly a freaking kite. If you ever wagered at pinny, you'll easily recognize all of the fonts and background as pinnacle site. Your fake screen Jcam is no way reflective of any pinny screen. Just stay out of the dude's thread.

Sorry about your loss Scott, thought it would be a close game but didn't expect Vince to tear them up like that. Some great performance all around though, really spectacular game. Just to think of Leinart doesn't mess around at the end or if they didn't use a TO for the 2 point conversion they might have sent it into OT which would have been incredible. Thanks for the plays and analysis this year(at least until you got even), good stuff
