Just had to post this for all the war haters....

There's wars that are fought for just purposes and there's wars that are fought on misguided and faulty information and unfortunately we have got ourselves into the latter. To even compare this misguided war to wars on facism-nazism is akin to grasping for straws, if you choose to believe faulty information that this is a war on terrorism then you are very guliable since history shows that there have been no terrorist attacks on the United States nor her allies by any citizen or group hailing from Iraq. On the other hand, if you choose to correctly state that the accomplishment of this quagmire has been to remove a brutal dictator then you would be correct, but then that opens another Pandora's Box and brings to question if we remove one brutal dictator then why are we not concerned about removing other brutal dictators such as the one's that currently exist in Burma, Sudan or Cuba? Why stop there if we are on a crusade to give people basic human rights then we should be looking at one of the most brutal dictatorships in the world that has perhaps the worst human rights record outside of China and that would be Saudi Arabia, you know the country that has been behind the vast majority of terrorist attacks against the United States.

I knew this would be a fun thread,
1. I never stated that I like this war or agreed with it.
2. Its always fun to push political buttons and watch sides explode on each other.
3. I am neither a left or right winger. I like some generalities of both platforms.
4. YOU (I am referring to all American citizens) elected this government, so YOU (again an AMERICAN reference) elected this war.
5. As far as the IDEAS behind the war, I dont KNOW them for a fact, a neither do you, but the people that did decide to go to war do and WE (notice the trend) put them in the position to decide.
6. No I dont think all wars are justified, but I would rather believe in what My country is doing rather than promote anarchy.
7. If I hear one more gripe about bring our troops home I am gonna scream. My question would be why? They enlisted every single one of them. They said in public that they would answer the call when our country said to be there. They did. They are there. If they dont like it, they can leave with heavy penalty. I swear, most soldiers that dont believe in what they are doing only joined the service to get free money, worse than welfare junkies.
8. To all the soldiers who are fighting for our country, I believe we owe our sincerest support and praise, not our gripes that what they are doing isnt right.
9. To any soldier that is fighting for someone's right to be free, the first round is always on me.
