Credit cards maxxed out...must be tough

I have a friend who is a masseuse....he commented business is way down; HOWEVER, people are paying cash...which he rarely had happen before.

I was at Walmart yesterday and paid with a hundred.
The cashier blanched and had to get money from the manager to give me change....she commented "EVERYBODY is using hundreds today"
I asked her how many hundreds she had cashed today and how long she had been on the clock..

In an hour and a half, she had taken in 5- 100.00 bills.

Walmart? Hundreds?

My thoughts are this....

People are seriously tapped out, and dipping into under the bed, rainy day funds.

DEPRESSION ANYONE?

On the course!
I'm seriously doubting people are "going into the mattress" to get the hundreds.

I think you are dealing with the paycheck to paycheck clan.
