First of all - a sincere appreciation to the soldiers, past and present, who put their lives on the line for the sake of our country. I can't even express enough gratitude to others, like myself, who woke up one morning and recieved a "Greetings" letter from Uncle Sam. And words cannot express the gratitude to those, unlike myself, who got one of those letters that "invited" yound men to join the battles of the War of Wars way back in he early 40s, a war that required the utmost bravery, courage, and patriotism of any war in recent history. Today is the day to TRY to put yourself in their shoes to get an inkling of what that was all about.
A quick look at today's card looks like "$$$$", full fields and plenty of potential mega-bombrrs
But, by the time I got done doing some serious handicapping, Memorial Day looks more like Losing Day at the track. Very rare, but the highest rated horse for each of the first 3 playable races are the M.L. favorites in what appears to be a race that should provide a NICE payoff based on the entries, race conditions, and field sizes. Didn't work on the the 4th playable race yet for today, race no. 9, but it's a turf race with a field of 12 and thems are NOT my cup of tea.
There was a system I used at N.Y. tracks (ESP. the BIG A) for situations like this, but I don't trust it at Philly cause it take big bets and it's pretty risky. Fact is that IT DID WORK most of the time in N.Y. that is .
I got the time today to be a WATCHER and think that's the thing to do, but for all the hits I get in this forum-> the top rated horse, by a decent margin too, is the M.L. favorite in races 3,7,8 and big time risk takers
nono
should look for a pricey exacta or even a trifecta in the 9th. You know, like the folks who go heavy in them Breeders Cup races and go home with their tail between their legs.
BTW, I'm on no. 3 in this upcomming 3rd race.
G.L. and have a Happy Holday today.
