5* - Washington Wizards (+5)
On Thursday night against Memphis, the Clippers were the victims of some clutch 3 point shooting in a 95-85 loss. That should be making the Wizards mouths water considering that they are coming off of a game against Utah on Thursday in which they made a franchise record 16 baskets from behind the arc. Gilbert Freaking Arenas was responsible for six of the 3 pointers en route to a 31 point performance and he was joined by Jamison and Butler who each added 27 points in the 109-97 win.

After winning six of their previous seven games, the Clippers have now dropped two in a row to New Orleans and Memphis. In the game against the Grizzlies, LA turned the ball over 24 times and made just 3 out of 12 three point attempts and allowed five Memphis players to score in double figures. With that poor defensive performance in mind, I think Washington?s big three may very well duplicate last game?s output.

In the last five games each team has played, Los Angeles has allowed 104.2 points and Washington has scored 104.6, and on the season, Washington averages 101.6 while the Clippers average only 97.2 points per game. Cutino Mobley has played in every game for the Clips this season and averages 15.7 points and 39.4 minutes. With him out today, or at least limited with an ankle sprain, I think I will take the five points the book is offering.
