Just thoughts today - GP Thurs

Had no intentions of playing anything today - too many turf races and I don't want to push my luck. I capped TWO races, the second and the forth.

I REALLY liked the no. 2 in the second, checked it out and his M.L. was 10 and he opened at 3-1. I just said to myself, "forget today" What did I have written down as my picks... ???
Yepper, 2-5-9.

Soooooo.. the other race I capped and figure maybe somebody may do something with it...

No. 6 looks like a cinch. others are 2 and the 4. I see now that is just about the way they goteem bet

I've had enough WATCHING my horse win without collecting a cent, so I'm gonna make a decent play on the no. 6 only. Win and Place (3x to place)

Prices are up.. actually, I LOST a half a bag of peanuts. No. 6 paid $2.60 to Place.

There's gonna be a price somewhere down the line today, just got a feeling that I ain't gonna find it though.

EDITED -> I see ajembassy is here. DAMN, I wish I woulda at least posted that 2nd race. I just don't have faith in this track.

Work is getting worser and worser these days, thems killing the workers. It's an employERS market. I used to work about 12hrs/day for quite a few years... got it down to part time now ,, and I can't stand it.

The bastages are favored now.

Don't like the race. I got no. 4 pegged as as the longshot (NOT recommending this one, but if ya like taking chances.. do it.) and the no. 2 as the figure horse.

Boca's horse is good, but I'm disappointed with the odds.

Been there plenty of times, HM. I put 5 bucks on that no. 4 win/place. I like to wheel exacats, but that can get very expensive. I coulda picked maybe 5 other horses to put that 4 with. .and GOOD THING I didn't try that cause the no. 5 definately wouldn't have been one of them.

Sorry I don't get to visit your thread, my friend.. I try to do the capping the night BEFORE the races, but lately I've been doing that between the races and I gotta start doing the next race RIGHT AFTER the current one (I go over EVERYthing when I cap them) and that takes time, then I try to post my plays and then get them in on time. Just barely make it.

Doubt I'll be around tomorrow, a little busy day for me, GOOD LUCK if you do get to play. Not sure where I'm headed for Sat.. north to Philly or stay right where I am here in sunny FLA. I'm getting the hang of Gulfstream.

It would be a shame if Suffolk closed; place has PLENTY of history behind it.
