In Las Vegas, some hotels, particularly within MGM Resorts, are now charging extra for plates, silverware, and napkins provided with room service, with fees potentially reaching $25, according to Casino.org. This is part of a broader trend of increased fees and charges on the Las Vegas Strip. Additionally, room service orders typically incur a service charge (around 15-20%) and state sales tax, in addition to the cost of the food and beverages.
