funny very funny....haha.

You know I was just thinking some more about the Falcons secondary versus the Philadelphia Eagles played at the Georgia Dome @ 4:15 EST.

The game initially was going to be on National TV but when they thought about how bad the Falcons are they pulled the game.
So now just us locals will be priviliged to see this game on our cable. The owner bought out all the tickets so we see all the games. Alot of no shows however. And the boo birds will also be out in force. When we get pissed at the Falcons what we mostly do is leave early. And I mean alot of us. Some things just cannot be tolerated week after week.

Hmmmm maybe that will incentive for the Falcons team to step up to the plate and win a game for the fawking Gipper.

Lets be real.

The best player we had at the start of the season in our defensive Secondary was Big Play Ray Buchanen. No one else could take his job. Now Big Play Ray is riding the pine. He will play in the game but most likely with a severe attitude. He may pull a few watch out , uh oh there he goes catching a ball in front of me for a touchdown.

And don't get me started on Kirt Kittner. We got our rookie QB in games now. Who came up with that brilliant idea.

Then the Falcons got a hurt QB on the sidelines who says it hurts his leg to go to practice. He would rather stay home and eat cheetos and play Play Station all day. What a life !

And we tried Dougie Johnson and that didn't work out. Well lets throw a rookie QB in the game and see if that don't help us win.

Then we have the two running backs if I can call them that.

Offensive line for the Falcons flat out stinks.

I am trying to find something nice to say here about the Falcons and then I will take my leave. Let me think.

Well the cheerleaders look damn good.

Here is one good thing I have to say about the Atlanta Falcons team overall.

I think they wear the white boots just to drive us nuts.

About a month ago, after seeing the Falcons cheerleaders in the white boots I got a bright idea.

I decided to go out and purchase a pair of that type of white boot for my wife. You know kinda spice up the relationship a little.

I figured it was worth a try. So I go to Lennox Square Mall and let me tell you something to begin with, I aint no mall shopper.

I went in about 20 stores in the mall asking for white boots.

Then a lady tells me where to go so I drive across the street to a womans specalty shop. It looked like the right place but I was not too happy about going in there with all the womans stuff around and ladies looking for sales. Much less asking for the white boots like the Falcons cheerleaders to fullfill my fantasy.

I bit my tongue and went on in. The Shoe department had her size and the boots listed for $ 378.56.

Sold I said, charged it, and headed for the door.

So I get home and walk in and my wife was home so I hand her the bag. She looks surprised like I had actually spent some time to get her a gift. Maybe it was something she wanted. This don't happen very often I am sure she was thinking.

So she says .....whats this ? in that voice of hers I have come to recognize.

And in that instant, I said to myself uh oh.

Now, how am I going to explain that I wanted her to wear the white boots whilst we fawked.

So she pulls the boots out and holds them up and says ..

What are these ?

So thinking quickly on my feet I said ....honey you probably arnt going to believe this but I got them for you to wear whilst we fawk.

So put the boots on, lay back and, enjoy the ride .. because here comes the big dog.

End of story.

Buchanan upset over benching of DBs

By KEN SUGIURA
Atlanta Journal-Constitution Staff Writer

Flowery Branch --
Falcons cornerback Ray Buchanan got a chance to tell his side of the story Wednesday. Predictably, Buchanan had some things to say about being benched for just the second time since 1994.

Buchanan says that he and three other defensive backs are being made scapegoats for a defense that is ranked last in the NFL in points and yards allowed.

"You hear, 'Keep this thing together, and let's not point fingers, let's keep it tight knit,'" Buchanan said, referring to admonitions from coaches and owner Arthur Blank to keep their gripes in-house. "'But here's our way of pointing fingers. The secondary, we're going to snatch all four of 'em and bench 'em.'"

The benching of Buchanan, cornerback Tyrone Williams and safeties Keion Carpenter and Gerald McBurrows in favor of corners Tod McBride and Juran Bolden and safeties Cory Hall and Bryon Scott is a severe shakeup. Buchanan, Williams and Carpenter have started 273 of the past 275 games that they have dressed for.

Said Williams, "I've never seen anything like this, but you've got to learn from everything."

But changes would seem to be in order for a defense that is on pace to allow the second most yards in a season in NFL history. Said coach Dan Reeves , "We've given up way too many plays and we need to get some new men out and see if they can come in and change it."

However, It is not only the secondary that is at fault for giving up an average of 266.9 passing yards per game. For instance, defensive ends Patrick Kerney and Brady Smit h, who had a combined 37 sacks in 2001 and 2002, have two through seven games.

"I've always bent my back for this team," Buchanan said. "To find out you're not even playing in that spot, it's like, 'Dang, are you all saying I'm not even a part of this organization?'"

Team captain Carpenter took a more conciliatory tone, saying, "It's a situation right now, when things go bad, it's on us. No one's excluded from that. It's hard to look at yourself individually and say, 'Well, I'm doing good,' when the team's last in passing."
..............................................................

Yeh Big Play Ray thats what they are saying.

The finger pointing is getting worse. Ookie Vick says he can't play yet , Coach Reeves says oh yes you can and you will get in there and win me my 200th victory.

Falcons dissention and team griping getting worse now and they have a game with the Eagles in two more days.

Terry Bradshaw's take on Falcons, Blank

Excerpts from Fox Sports Net's Mike Bell's interview with Fox NFL Sunday's Terry Bradshaw. Part 1 of the interview aired Wednesday night and Part II airs at 10 p.m. today on FSN.

On the Falcons' coaching situation and will Jimmy Johnson be Atlanta's next coach -- "It's not going to happen. Arthur Blank needs to wise up and be careful of what he's saying behind closed doors. What he's going to end up doing is hurting the people there that are working so hard to try and win a football game."

On rumors about Blank having private meetings with players such as Warrick Dunn and Peerless Price -- "Big mistake. He [Blank] has no clue what he's doing. Wheeling Michael Vick out in a wheelchair before the Cowboy game ... what is that? That's like grandstanding. Nobody's impressed with that ... hanging out with your star. All you're doing is taking one great athlete and saying he's bigger and better than your whole team. You can't do that. That's a huge mistake. Mike Vick needs everybody around him, and those players are going to become either jealous, bitter or envious, and the whole team is going to be divided because of Mike Vick.

The best thing you could do is take Mike Vick and ship him off to his house and let him heal and we'll see him next year. Arthur Blank can go off on his yacht somewhere because he has no clue what he's doing because he's destroying a good man like Dan Reeves. If you're going to fire him fine, but keep your mouth shut till it's said and done. Don't say we are going to have a meeting because it's already out that it's Nick Saban from LSU [the Falcons are rumored at looking at]. And the Chicago Bears are also rumored to be after Saban. Why are these rumors out there? Someone had to start them, and it had to start from the top, and that's Arthur Blank."

Blank, Daniel Snyder and Jerry Jones -- "These guys are not football players, although Jones was a pretty good athlete. Jerry's a pretty cool dude, but he's media savvy too. Arthur Blank is a guy from Home Depot. You look at him and you say 'go back to the Depot man.' Don't be sticking your head out here where it doesn't belong.

Daniel Snyder... he's Napoleon ... he's five feet tall. There's something about owning it, having all that power, and getting a little PR. I'm not into that."

On the Falcons season -- "I don't know what happened to the defense but I do know there is in-fighting and bickering. You could say the coaching staff has lost this football team and that's unfortunate because I thought that defense was really coming on last year. Even with Vick out, you still have a really good defense here. How did this thing go so bad so fast?"

On Terrell Owens -- "He has not grown up. I would not want Owens on my football team. I'd try to knock him out. I'd throw him a high hard one and try to take his head off. I could not play today. I can not stand selfish people. You do not win with selfish people. It's a team game.

That's what's so great about it. It takes all of us to do our job. You get guys like Owens...I wouldn't want him."
...................................................................

I dont often agree with Terry Bradshaw about anything but he is saying about Ookie is if you molly coddle Ookie, tell him to heal on his own schedule, push him around in a wheelchair, let him ride in the corporate jet, sit in the owners box, Ookie will motivate himself and set his own time to get back to play.

What a mess.

you can see GM's nfl posted record in the NFL contest, something
you scooter would avoid like the plague, since it would expose
your handcapping (coat tailing) capabilities.

Beware Chad Lewis

The Eagles' tight end has just 10 catches so far this season, in part because Philadelphia's passing attack is ranked last in the league with a meager average of 123.6 yards per game. But the six-year veteran is a crafty receiver who averaged 50 catches per season over the previous three years.

The fact he'll often be matched up against Falcons rookie strong safety Bryan Scott, who'll be making his first NFL start while playing a position he wasn't moved to until four weeks ago, makes this a possible flashpoint."

...............................................................

Bryan Scott is going to get schooled by Lewis. Rookie won't have a chance. Need a first down, boom Lewis 10 yards.

It not only makes it a flashpoint, it makes it all out war.

ATLANTA - In all his visits to the team complex for work-related assignments, Deion Sanders has never once bumped into Arthur Blank, but he hopes to meet the Atlanta Falcons owner at some point in the near future.

In fact, Sanders told ESPN.com on Saturday night, he'd love to sit down with Blank soon to discuss a return to the NFL.

As the Falcons next head coach.

"I can make them a better team, and I know that, because I know the things that really need to be done there," said Sanders.

Sanders has never been a coach at any level of the game, and he said his interest in the profession is likely limited to the Falcons, because he feels he is familiar with the city of Atlanta and the franchise's potential. As He emphasized that he has "great respect" for Reeves, whose club is mired in a six-game losing streak entering Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles, and whose job security beyond this season appears tenuous. Sanders insisted that he would do nothing to undermine Reeves' future, but quickly added that he believes the Falcons will make a change "no matter what" at the end of the year.

"Oh, there's going to be a change, let's face it," Sanders said. "I mean, they have to do something, don't they? They've got some players there they can win with, any coach would love to work with Vick, plus I know I could get players to come there [as free agents]. Guys most definitely would want to play for me."

Sanders said he has no interest in first becoming an assistant coach, because the hours are too long and the "legitimate input" too little. "Too much sitting around and not being able to make a difference," he said of an assistant coach position.

"I guess my message to Mr. Blank would be two words: 'Call me,' " Sanders said.
.............................................................

What a joke in Atlanta that would be. We dislike Neon Deion here in Atlanta and he hasnt even figured that out yet. Another prima donna franchise saver that never produced for the Falcons.

Neon would fit right in with Vick, another guy that wouldnt play unless 100%. Neon didnt like to tackle on defense and never seen a sideline he didnt want to run out of.

Very disrespectful of Sanders to come out like this and say anything. I bet Reeves is going to be pissed reading about Neon wanting his job. As if Reeves don't look foolish enough these days.

Of course Neon dont want to be a assistant coach first. No way he puts any effort into becoming a coach. Just let him do it.

Neon could get guys to come to the Falcons as free agents because they like him. Ever heard of the salary cap you dumb ass Sanders ?

Arthur Blank owner will call Neon when hell freezes over.

What a fawking joke. Sanders eat a peach will ya.

Game time draws near. Falcons team under pressure to produce a win against a good Eagles team motivated to stay close in their division.

Falcons 1-6 set to maybe run the table.

Coach on the hot seat, new 4-3 defense just installed, new players and rookies in the secondary, Rookie QB at the helm, horrible offensive line, running backs mediocre.

the work is done here. lets get the play in and head to the winning ticket window. I smell money and it smells green.

good luck to us.
