The KState dream is over. Tech rolls them!!! Lay the 3 and don't worry about how many points are scored.

Just an update from the Tech side.

They've had a great two days of practice Tues and Weds. Tubs said it looked like they've skaken off the loss to the Aggs and are excited to play again. Tech has had a lot of injuries to key players and they should have a couple back this week. Their best WR Moore should play and hopefully Tre Porter plays.(he's their best guy on D, at least IMO he is)

Normally Tech has a serious hangover the week after a&m but I think this year will be different because the team is so young. Last week actually gave them some confidence that they can be a good team. The big question will be who steps up for Eric Stephens at RB. He was having a fantastic year and replacing him full time will be difficult.

On defense I think you'll start to see Tech really coming together. Last week was Scott Smiths first game back after a year supsension. He's a beast at DE and will cause some problems. I think he needed at least one game to get back into game mode. If Tre Porter is back, Techs D should look good. Remember this is their first year running this scheme so with each game they'll get better.

Saying all of that, KState does a lot of the same things Nevada does on offense. Nevada gave Techs young defense fits with their scheme and I would expect KState to do much the same. Might be a bend but try not to break type weekend for the Tech D.
