KState -4
Don't usually like laying pts on the road but KState is pretty damn good this year.
They really don't have a weakness that I see thus far.
On the OLine they have all Seniors and Juniors...in fact the whole offense is full of Junior and Senior starters with the exception of a Sophomore starting at WR (Lamark Brown)
The defense is also much improved...they have JUCO and transfers revamping the LB corp and a experienced secondary.
KState QB Freeman is outstanding. Putting up ridiculous numbers and can hurt you on the ground as well. I think this will be a big factor in KState success....Ville has been very good against the run, but I think the added fact that Freeman can take off himself will create an extra dimension to the rush game that Ville has to worry about.
Louisville was dominated by Kentucky and then blew out a weak Tennessee Tech team. Louisville is definitely not the team they were 2 years ago. They lost Petrino, Brohm, a very good RB and WR in Michael Bush and Super Mario Urrutia in the past few years. Hunter Cantwell is good but he is not great and Kragthorpe is not the coach Petrino was. They deflated last year after a great season 2 years ago and I think this year will also be a mediocre season from the Cards.
ONE OF MY MAIN SELLING POINTS ON K-STATE IS THIS....If Hunter Cantwell is held to 153 yards and 3 picks vrs a Kentucky team who let Middle Tennessee pass for 355 yards against them, that is telling me that the Louisville pass O is nothing special at all!:scared
Again, I really hate laying points on the road most of the time but I think KState is very good this year. Neither teams have showed much vrs. quality opponents, except Ville vs. Kentucky, and that could very well be a reason Ville covers here but I can't see it with how strong KState is on offense and how much better their D has been.
