Thanks Thunder! Also need to thank RAZ, spuds, and Ranstl for the support.

pd 1 brings up some great points, going back to the Missouri game. The Rush/Gilbert duo will have to be on today.

Let's talk about the two coaches. Wasn't a big fan of Roy Williams until he had the balls to turn down the NC job. Turns out, he new way more than I.

Highest respect from me for HC Quin Snyder. Hard to step into the huge shoes of Norm Stewart. Quin has filled them admirably.

Three more thoughts:

1) Watched all the over rated Kansas teams over the years, and felt they were over rated. Haven't been surprised to see Kansas bow out early in recent years in the Big Dance.

That may happen again this year, as there is so much parity and surprises happen every year, don't care how good you are. I would be surprised if it happens this year though.

2) Senior day amounts to Gilbert........great player, deserving of all the kudos today! Hinrich covered him like a blanket, none factor in the game in Lawrence. Gilbert finished the night 7-15, scoring after the game was long over, a Kanasas drubbing 105-73. Kareem Rush was 4 for 19 in the first game, and is shooting his mouth again about being NBA material. If only Snyder could shut his mouth? Kareem might also take a lesson from his brother and his quick exit from UCLA. HEY brother, which NBA team are you playing for?

3) The Nebraska factor: Kansas got there awakening at Nebraska last Sunday. Nebraska made 18 treys in that game. Missouri will have to do the same or more to cover here.

Side note: Seems most time I type out a long thread, I lose. It's my jinx, I guess. Will see what happ[ens today.

glad to see we are on the same page..!

its not like KU has nothing to play for. When this team wants to they can out score any team in the country. Just dont think Mizz has the O to keep this close..

ill take the #1 team in the country, beating their rival to become the only undefeated big 12 team ever!!!
