Injured Iowa St starting tons of freshman traveling to Kansas; Iowa St has owned Kansas the last 3 years, twice by lopsided scores....Senior Kansas QB on mend, Kansas could hit .500 and seniors could get some serious revenge, never beating Iowa St...kansas would have slim chance at bowl, giving up 10 at home seems pretty do-able....not sure who is QB for Iowa st.....still looking at this one....Iowa st has had tough schedule but getting smoked regardless....GLTA

I totally agree. A bowl game would be huge for Mangino and their program, Whittemore has been cleared to play, Senior Day, it all adds up to Kansas by at least 3 touchdowns. New QB for I. State is a JUCO transfer who has averaged only 38% completions and 103 yards passing, 1 TD and 3 interceptions in his first two starts. Good luck to all.

"the bunker"
i`ve read

i`ve read

that whittemore feels great and looked super sharp in practice later in the week....iowa st offense is abysmal;....this is payback for 3 years of beatings at the hands of the cyclones..and a bowl bid hangs in the balance.....but,then,the line drops from 11.5 to 10.......

that concerns me a bit....

FUNNY HOW WITH ALL THE ABOVE FACTORS AND CONSENSUS SITES ARE ALL OVER KANSAS ..THAT THE LINE HAS MOVED DOWN TO 10 RATHER THAN MOVED UP...

NOT THAT ...THAT MEANS EVERYTHING...

I JUST THOUGHT THAT WAS A BIT WIERD...

GOOD LUCK GUYS

Council Bluffs. My only small concern in this game is if Iowa State can run the ball and move the chains, keeping the ball from Whittemore. I don't think they'll be able to do it enough though. I wonder about that line drop also. I hope Kansas didn't "get the envelope".

This is the same as last week - I was on Colorado at -8.5 and watched the line drop all the way to -6........and started this think I was missing something big. Well I wasn't - Iowa St was awful just as I expected - 44-10.

yeh i saw that as well blackman...and was wondering about that line move....

the only difference for me this week is that i capped the game lastw eek against iowa state...this week my numbers are much more closer to the actual number here...

kansas defense is not good...IMO...if iowa state scores early this game might get very interesting..whenever a bad team suddenly finds some momentum in a particular game they can become dangerous if thier confidence begins to rise

but they have the motivation and home field so i understand the play

good luck everyone..

I agree with you Cooz this matchup isn't as sweet as last weekend - I expected huge things from the Buffs and put 6 units up - this week this is only a 2 unit play for me. While I think it is a strong play - Kansas is not a team I'm willing to risk big coin on.

GL to all with the play.

7th Iowa St fade I won this year - if it wasn't for the Cyclones I'd be in the red.

Good win for all involved, too bad their season is over.
