I want to encourage everyone to keep doubting KU. This squad OWNS THE POINTSPREAD! :00hour - KU dominated A&M- scoreboard is misleading - thank God! More VALUE coming.

I'll project KU -12.5 v. Nebraska next week. This will be a bigger ass whoopin than the last time Callahan showed his dumbass in Lawrence (30-6 ?) I attended, but can't remember the exact score. Boyz, this will be a 30 point blowout. Hoping for less than -14, and I think the bluechip battle in Austin may just insure a reasonable price here. If it wasn't for KU, my NCAA action would be average @ best. The KU letdown game comes @ OSU "I'm a MAN! I'm 40!" No letdown on HC v. Neb.

Disclosure: my father did play @ KU, but I am AZ grad. I feel unbias here. I hate KU hoops- support KU football. Most KU alum are realizing that there is a football team. You know who you are a-holes! How bout Mangino's wiseguy sweatsuit- love it - I felt like I needed to donate to the program :SIB

Did your dad play for Pepper Rogers or Jack Mitchell? They had a few decent teams back then.

Fade, I agree with you and hear where you are coming from with the beatdown. I think the Texas game was the first game the Huskers actually tried and played probably the best they could have and still lost to a Longhorns team that looked lost until the 4th quarter. Jayhawks will be ready and I think a blowout will be in order. 55-17 sounds real close. Thanks for your post. By the way I am a husker nut and this should tell a lot!

Injury notes on Nebraska

Nebraska lost starting QB S Keller to a broken collar bone, but J Ganz may be a better option vs KU defense. Ganz is more mobile than the statue Keller and knows the offense better than Keller. OL is banged up also.

Injuries are a big problem on defense. Starting and most consistent LB L Brandenburg is out as well other Bo Rudd who missed last weeks game vs Texas. A walkon is expected to take over for Brandenburg

I would rather have Keller in there. Not familiar w/Gansz, but he couldn't be any worse. Brandenburg is a local KC product. I Was hoping the line wouldn't be as high as it is, but I still like KU.

If Brandenburg and Ruud are out. Kansas could run for well over 300 yards. I see Ruud is questionable right now.

Kansas doesn't have any injuries which is unbelievable for this late in the season. Kansas is 7-0 ATS while Nebraska is 2-7 ATS as they broke their streak of 7 consecutive losing weeks ATS @ Texas. Kansas is 10-1 ATS dating to last season as well and the Jayhawks have proven to be very tough defensively (I believe only Ohio State has better numbers).

I think a woodshed could be in order, but a letdown is possible as well. Kansas just played back-to-back tough road games. However, KU should run for more than 300 yards against the Huskers and I would expect Kansas to score in the 40's (everyone else has broken the 40 point mark against the Huskers). Kansas has a balanced offense and their OL is actually very solid.

Kansas 41 Nebraska 10 - Sounds right to me if the Jayhawks don't have a letdown.

The Black Skirts should get exposed again.

I expected this line to be around the 13 pt. range Fade originally wrote. Ganz isn't that much of a drop-off from Keller honestly. I actually think Nebraska will respond better to having Ganz at QB and have a better offensive output than their other recent games, even against an under-rated KU D.

The defense is obviously a crap-shoot for Nebraska. They can look decent for 2 1/2 quarters like they did against Tejas only to go to crap. Most other games they are going to look like crap for the entire game. This isn't due to the talent, so having back-up LB's isn't the issue. It's the chump they have as their d-coordinator. The guy can't and won't make any adjustments.

This one should be a shoot-out in my mind, but I don't see KU covering the larger number. I'm in the minority on the board for this one, but that's just my take on this one.

GL on all your plays this weekend. Hopefully we are on the same side on some others.

ruud is milking the injury, he walks into finance class goofing around and pushing his buddies, if he doesnt play this week he might as well sit the rest of the season because he sure doesnt have a problem playing around with his shoulder
