I would be careful with this game today. Too many things pointing the Tiger's way. Yes, KU has been bad on the road, but they have played their two best games in a row at home and might be heading for a little run to close the year out. Mizzou has Senior Day, closing the Hearns Center, Norm Stewart will be there, etc, etc. Looks too easy. Take KU and the +3.5 and run.:nono: :nono:

"KU has been bad on the road, but they have played their two best games in a row at home and might be heading for a little run to close the year out"

Not only have they been bad on the road but they lost to Richmond at home too.

from MadJacks fabulous database;

Kansas are 2-5-0 ATS in their last 7 games
Kansas are 1-5-0 ATS in their last 6 away games
Kansas are 2-8-0 OU in their last 10 away
Missouri are 5-2-0 ATS in their last 7 games
Missouri are 10-2-2 ATS in their last 14 games against Kansas
Missouri are 5-0-1 ATS in their last 6 home games
Missouri are 6-0-1 ATS in their last 7 home games against Kansas
Missouri are 5-0-0 OU in their last 5 games
Missouri are 2-5-0 OU in their last 7 at home

They played their 2 best games in a row you say? The last 4 home games they had were against mediocre to lousy teams at best(Nebraska,Oklahoma,Iowa State and Baylor)

Say what you want about the "homer affect". Just the way I want it, everyone in Madjacks swinging from Mizzou's nuts. Everyone knows what that means; KU cover. Up to +4 now, Perfect.:thefinger :thefinger :thefinger

After that last comment one of two things will happen:

1. KU covers and you can/will gloat
2. Mizzou covers, you get a rash of crap, and come back to MJs with a new name...

I am not one for gloating, BUT, I told you so. Mizzou was too obvious a pick today. Too many things pointing their way. Never under-estimate the J-Hawks. Thanks to all you none believers for raising the KU ML.:moon: :moon:

nice call...we are starting to play well....Kansas played their best game of the year and without the touch fouls and getting some calls at our end we wouldda won going away

I dont think anyone ever underestimated Kansas, usually the opposite. I smile every year when I see all teh pool entries with Kansas, when we all know that when it is nut-cutting time they will gag it off. Maybe they will sneak in underer the radar, but as with all Big 12 teams this year I think just getting to Sweet 16 will be big. None is getting farther than that unless something really odd happens.

nice call j-hawk:)

i definitely leaned w'hawks myself today. had missouri winning by 8 and losing by 3. when that happens in the negative end i like the dog. if i had missouri losing by 4 or 5 then i would have pulled the trigger. good call

i think cbb is down as a whole this year....CUSA and ACC are the only conference having a good year.....

Big12, SEC, PAC10 are down and Big10 really stinks...

i think KS and OSU are playing top 10 ball right now and Texas not too far behind them....if any of those teams makes shots they could get to SA because they all play good defense

Nice call and congrats...that said, KU shooting 60% from field and over 50% from 3 point line combined with Mizzou only making 19 of 32 free throws was the reason KU won...not sure those stats would ever repeat themselves again if/when these 2 squared off again, but nonetheless congrats on the W...

I think Texas has the best chance of the 3, but these teams are down and Okie State is not what people think they are. Okie State gonna be in a world of shit in a 2nd round game. Horns have been there before which will help, but hard to see them beating a team seeded above them unless it is a team like Pitt.

I truly see NCAA setting up KU-UNC in a 4-5 game and that will be it for them.

i would put my money on Texas SU over Gonzaga or St. Joes -- 2 higher seeded teams....neither of those teams has seen athleticism at all 5 spots or play in leagues that play defense....

and never pencil Roy's team in against anyone in the tourney....espeically this year...that man will be wound as tight as a clock and his team usually reflects it

although i did take KU on the side and ML today, i wouldn't dare go against Missouri in their next game. Mizzou has shown an amazing level of fortitude this year. they have really had some adversity, but yet have fought hard through the end.

they missed a lot of first half one and ones today and that probably did them in. i wouldn't be suprised to see them perhaps win the Big 12 tourney.

Many valid points about KU's shooting % and so on, but you also have to look at the amount of fouls called on the two teams. For much of the game it was over double on KU. Johnson was getting away with murder on the inside. If Simien would lean and push like Johnson was at the offensive end, you can bet it would have been an offensive foul. None the less, this was a big road win for KU and I hope this means they are looking to make a late season run.:D

Nice Call J-hawk

Nice Call J-hawk

Good Call J-Hawk. I believe the Tigers will show up for the Big 12 tournament. I still think they are a good team but haven't played their best yet. Look for the Tigers to win the Big 12 tourney and slide into the big show. Just My Opinion.
