March Madness

4-1 .... 80% ..... + $ 1,639.00

I know I know....

Why would you bet all your winnings and more on this game ? And a -850 chalk play ?

The answer is that Kansas is

ROCK CHALK JAYHAWKS

I have very little exposure to risk in this game.

Kansas will take care of their business and move on. If they don't , I am then down a few hundred with more games remaining.

I hate it when its this easy.

I smell money and it smells green !

This is why I gamble, this is why I win.

if i were to wager this i'd buy some points just to be sure:mj07:

..............................................................

thats some funny chit right there

lol

I thought about adding alot of points to the
+ 11.5 and VCU but I believe VCU
will lose this game by fawking 20.

Reduce the risk.

Make the play

A win is a win any way you can get it.

you're right about that...VCU will lose by a BIG margin but a WIN is always better than a bad surprise:toast:

When you are playing with house money......I think it's smart. Lay the chalk to gain another 200 to the bankroll.

I like the play KOD. Solid

how & why bet 1700 to win 200 ??? even if you cash, not smart .

..............................................................

Destructor D will be in to second that motion.

If I did not play this I would not be able to make a bet on Sunday's games.

I am not playing NC / Kentucky as in my opinion its too close to call.

I get really pissed at times with the books making it impossible to play a moneyline by making it a amount no one would consider.

Its the principal of the thing to me. And I am a man of principal.

I spent many long hours in the principals office in school.

Its a way to thumb my nose at them.

I have the money I won so far, I want to play it,
and I believe there is very little risk.

On to the final four.

I smell money and it smells green !

I got to admit it really isn't smart.

It's a bet placed out of anger to what I
want to play.

I woudn't advise it to others.

But this is me and my money.

I think in a past life I was a Unorthodox Jew.

VCU is going to have to play the game of their lives to win.

In the VCU vs FSU game, if Florida St can make any shots at all , they could have won by 10
points easily.

Florida St dominated the boards but couldnt buy a basket which happens in March Madness.

But it aint going to happen with this Kansas team. These fawkers are movtivated and focused for this game.

The Morris twins will cause big problems for VCU.
VCU is just too small to step up in this game.

Kansas strong on both ends of the floor. Not only with defense but on offense.

I was born with a basketball in my hands. It was the only good thing my father ever did for me back then before he left.

When I picked the basketball up my eyes glowed.

There was never a time I can remember not playing basketball. Lived in New England and even in solid winter we played late into the night. Had lights on a garage hoop and we played with gloves on to stave off frostbite.

There was a bully in the neighberhood named of David Anoe. He had his own basket with spotlights.
He lived three doors down from where we lived.

The guy was 16 and we were all 12 yrs old.

Big Dave ( he called himself Wilt ) was 6 ft tall and weighed in easily at 250 lbs . He set the basket at 8 ft so he could dunk on us consistantly. But at 110 lbs he didn't always dunk on me.

I learned to use his weight against him. I would let him lean on me and then move and he would fall into a snowbank. Or I would stand in front of him and deny him the rock.
Big Dave learned to hate me, and I loved it.

I usually played the center position against Big Dave in our night games at Anoe Stadium.

I hated to lose back then. Our games to 21 points were legend in the neighborhood. Sometimes the girls would come to watch. We had chairs set up so they could sit in the stands.

Playing in Anoe stadium helped me learn how to box out bigger players as I was quite adept at it when I got to High School.

I was on a team that won our State Championship back then. Man what a run we had. We had two players named Phillips. They were brothers and one was 6'7 the other 6'9 . They were great players.

I didnt get to play that much as I wasnt a senior, but in practise I would feed the ball to the Phillips boys whenever I could, and let them do their thing. They tolerated me because of that.

When the State Championship game was over and we had won, I looked up into the stands and there was Big Dave sitting there watching us. He waved and smiled.

Maybe Big Dave took some credit in some small way that he had helped to get me on this winning State Championship team. Maybe Big Dave felt he had groomed me for Victory's in the future beyond Anoe Stadiium.

About a week later, I was walking out into the back yard and looked over at Anoe Stadium. There was Big Dave dunking the ball under the spotlight into the basket still set at 8 ft.

Nothing changes but the changes I said to myself.

Basketball was my life back then.

Where have those years gone.

Now I am a gambler, betting on others that are able to do what I could only dream of doing so long, long ago.

The only thing that hasn't changed about me now is :

I still hate to lose.
