I appreciate the offer for some clothes for the kids.

my son is 4 yrs old. wears size 4 or 5 clothes

my daughter is 5 yrs old. wears 6X or 7 size clothes.

BTW, my wife is fat, :mj07: she's 5 months pregnant with Hayden, our next son.

I'm sorry I don't have any childrens clothes, but what size can you and the misses wear. My g'friend and I have already boxed her clothes and dozens of golf shirts and pants that I planned on donating. If you can wear them I'll send them to you Monday......

OK, Lawtchan, here is the deal. I only wear size L but I play golf with a couple of "fat-asses" (lol--they're shorter than you by far) who have helped out. I'm collecting golf shirts, pants, t-shirts, Tommy Bahama shirts etc. today and tomorrow. On tuesday everything will be sent via UPS to the Hampton Inn address. I'm still working on items for the misses and the kids.

What people dont understand is that everyone got out that could. People that stayed had no choice butt to stay. They have no cars. New orleans has a lot of poor people that have no vehicles. They have poor neighborhoods and these people live paycheck to paycheck and with some help from the gov't. They couldnt go nowhere the didnt have a ride out.

I hate to disagree with you, but I must. I will concede there were people without cars, but buses were made avaliable to get them out. In fact, people were actually DRIVING there cars TO the superdome and parking to ride out the storm in the dome.
If you have a car to make it to the superdome they should have gotten out the city. No matter what transportation was provided, there were people that were NOT going to leave no matter what and for that they have NO excuses!!!

We are checking our closets right now for clothes for you and your wife. Our son is only 2 so that wont help. What about toiletries, towels, etc.
Or off the wall stuff, ie, flashlight, tools, blankets, etc. not really sure, but I think if you made a list of what you need, you would be surprised how this place would help you :clap:
