HOUSTON +17 -120 Double Play W

The Houston Cougars are not having that great of a year, due in part because their QB Greg Ward Jr. has had some nagging injuries. When Ward is healthy, he's as good as it gets and he's slated to go tonight, although I 'm not sure how healthy he is. Louisville has a pretty good QB too in Jackson....but 17 points??? That's a ton of points to give a Tom Herman coached team. Houston is 13-1 the last 14 times they have been listed as the underdog. Trends like that really don't do a whole lot for me, but it can't be ignored either. I think Tom Herman is one of the 3 best coaches in the NCAA, along with Nick Saban and Urban Meyer. I'll take Houston at home getting 17 points in what I think should be a competitive game.

Well said. Herman is one of my favorites also. I think I am playing the Houston +9 in the first half as I am a little worried about Ward lasting the whole game. I am also on Navy once again -7. Good Luck!!

I agree on the coaches....what do you think about Jim Grobe? I would put him in that conversation too. Not that he's relevant to this but I'm always praising him....love me some Jim Grobe....what he did at Wake Forest for 11 years was amazing. Was hoping he could go undefeated this year at Baylor but just too many distractions and lack of depth too.

TOP KNOTCH...HE WAS THROWN IN A BAD SITUATION IN MY OPINION...LIKE YOU SAID, TOO MANY DISTRACTIONS AND REALLY NOT HIS KIDS OR HIS SYSTEM. GREAT BAND AID THOUGH FOR BAYLOR.
